  • I am really on a "Roll" now.. heh (RC nerd Joke) as my Roller is complete. Today I install the super scale drive shafts, beautiful heavy axles, the shocks and bead-lock wheels into the rubber. But! not before I discover the Thread Lock, the Grease, Shock Oil - and get this, A MINI SERVO! Sweet! Ive never known a kit to come with a servo before :) While installing these items I am going to demonstrate how to do this yourself, as well as give any helpful tips and tricks I've learned along the way. This video is family friendly.. and meant for all ages. In the next video I will be installing the electronics.. so please stay tuned and hit that Subscribe/Notify button to stay up to date on this great build!

(a Note from Boom Racing: BRX01 DESIGN CONCEPT
Over the years R/C crawlers have become more realistic in terms of performance and scale features. But to date, the crawler hobby industry hasn't seen a high performance “daily driver” - what we industry junkies describe as a 1:1 vehicle that can be purchased from the dealership, a truck without a suspension lift and big tires.
So we set out to produce this truck - a performance based “daily driver” packed with innovations; fine enough to be a shelf queen and badass enough to be a beast on the trails!
    HOW IS THE BRX01 DIFFERENT?
Starting with a clean sheet of paper the 1/10 BRX01 was developed as a performance based R/C crawler chassis with a scale "stock truck" appearance. It combines many performance and scale features into a single ground breaking vehicle.
What makes the BRX01 special is that many of the features on the chassis come from the imaginations of fellow R/C hobbyists. By listening to their ideas and feedback, we are able to include many new and exciting features into the BRX01.)

An open door for you to escape the "every day".. and just get lost in a world of amazing robots, and great people. I sure wish I could make it to the Asian Scale Invasion 2019.. but I am very sick at the moment. Unfortunately I had to make video of it here: ruclips.net/video/TLnkRi-BN3s/видео.html explaining whats going on, as its pretty heavy. Great show.
I could never justify the money this truck cost but it's very nice.
That being said if I did shell of $800, there's a couple of things I would expect to see it come with.
    1. Plenty of grease in the 3rd members.
    2. Threaded holes on mounting brackets.
    3. And from things you had mentioned, I'd hope for a parts list and directions / instructions.
    4. Lastly, those nice little frosted plastic parts baggies.
I can't wait to see this done.
** I sure wish you could order a sick looking 5-7 shade "White Camo" body-wrap for this truck.!!
( Like white, 5 shades of gray and black ). That way you can take the wrap off if you wanted to paint it.

I've seen builders use 'flashy' wheels, but these are what you'd expect from an older truck - basic and simple! I reckoned that screw on the axle was a access point for adding grease.

Also there's a very slim chance that if someone is going to link their truck they're definitely going with a stronger axle witch would not have a 5 lug.

I'm wondering and maybe I might be wrong. But rc4wd has a transfer case that you can shift the transfer case to have a 1/1 ratio or have underdrive in the rear. Maybe that second output is a slightly different ratio so you can have the option to under drive the rear by attaching the driveshaft to that output instead.

On the build that you are building the space with the open driveshaft port I think it is for a extra motor

The second out put shaft on the transfer case could be a different gear ratio for like a overdrive or under drive you would have too check the rotation looks like a nice trail truck chassis good n strong

The more I see of this build the more the quality of this kit shows. I wish my budget stretched to one of these as it's a one and done build besides the electronics etc. I doubt you would need to do any aftermarket stuff to this besides some cosmetic things.

Second output....PTO maybe?....anyway that's a badass rolling chassis...I'm oldschool and didn't know that so much detail went into these things...what's the pricetag on one of these?

Make sure you put your rear drive shaft on the correct output.

I can only guess the second output shaft is if you were to change the axles and found that the front and rear rotate in opposite directions you could switch the rear to the other output so they would match rotation.
