    As a long-term LC79 owner, this is insane. I've only ever painted Laxan bodies and doubt I'll be able to get the finish you did but man, I'm sure gonna try. Liked and subbed. Would love to see one of these "aged",

      Thanks a bunch! One day I will do another build and will consider aging it and add minor dents etc

    Really nice paint job, how had it held up. It's been 2 yrs.

      So far the owner has been trailing it every weekend since he got it painted by me. Granted he does take good care when he trails and avoids flip overs etc. Therefore the paint job still looks great today.

    Another awesome video and insane details on the paint! Didn’t your father have a paint body shop there at your property? Is that where you picked up some of your painting skillZ? Thanks putting this vid timeline together. The owner of the truck will be thrilled!

      Thank you! Yes my Father had his shop here on the property and has been painting since I was very young. Only until I became a teenager and got into cars is when my late Father started teaching me about painting, body working. After I had also learned from years of mistakes, paint issues, flaws etc.. This is where I developed the experience and how to fix those issues and also to prevent it from happening again. Then from there I started my own small automotive paint shop customizing cars from 1995 to 2000. I closed up everything in late 2000 to enlist into the US Army and serve my Country and represent those who fought and died for the people of Guam.

      @@BayonasRCWorld Gotcha! Very cool about your dad and your learning curve. It definitely paid off with your skills as we see your results. Thanks for serving, always nice to know a Brother in Arms. My father served in the Pacific during WWII then Korea and Nam. I was USMC first then went Army when the Corps told me I was too old to go to flight school; went Warrant in the Army. 😆 Hueys and Hawks and no regrets.

    Great attention to detail! Can you clear over decals with the Duplicolor clear also?

    • @BayonasRCWorld
      @BayonasRCWorld  2 года назад +1

      Thanks! With Dupli color rattle can clear you sure can spray over the decals. Anytime you spray over decals I would do a tack coat or very light mist coat over the decals and let flash before spraying your first medium coat.
