The dry container is designed for what you tried to do with the spices. Wet containers like this one have a different blade design that is intended for wet ingredients like your smoothie. It’s kind of like asking a screwdriver to do the job of a hammer or vice versa.
Good demonstration but you put way too many spices in that container. If you fill up any Vitamix container too full, it’s going to screw up. You should’ve broken up the cinnamon sticks. But it seems to have worked pretty well. Thanks for the video...
you should go buy the small container for this adapter kit, it's meant to be used for making flours nut butters and grinding like your spices or coffee
Very nice, next time w/ that protein powder throw an egg in w/ some strawberries & bannana too. Gr8 protein my friend & u can't taste the egg & it's good for ya! Have a merry Christmas and happy New Year!
Vitamix is supposed to be top of the line right? I was wanting to get one a few years back when I would have smoothies/protein shakes everyday because I was working out everyday. I really need to get back into that. If you like chocolate & cherries. I came up with a smoothie that reminded me of chocolate covered cherries. 1/2 -1c frozen black cherries, 1tbsp chocolate chips, 1 5oz container of greek cherry yogurt, 1 scoop vanilla isolate protein powder, almond milk to the thickness you like. I'd even top it with whipped cream and Yummy! I had added all that to hit my macros for the day. Thanks for sharing this review.
April G Yeah i do the same with the coffee grinder. But i was looking for a all in one. I just did come chili seasoning yesterday and it worked great. I just tried too much during this review. Lol
Lol, I put all kinds of dried peppers in my chili. I buy all of my whole spices and dried peppers from a online place called (myspicesage) Love their stuff...
I thought the VitaMix brand Blender also had a reversing blade switch? Maybe that would have been useful making the Smoothie? Where was the Max Fill line on the personal jar top? Nice demo. Thank you.
You seem to be complaining about having to use the tamper - dude, the tamper comes with it for a reason. While other blenders you have to take jar off to shake and unstuck food, the vitamix lets you use the tamper. It's literally part of the process, and it's brilliant. As for the second half of the awful review. Why are you blending dry seeds in a container clearly designed for a liquid smoothie? Bizarro.
👀👀👀👀 Blender and Grinder difference . A grinder is the closest match with a food processor or blender. But the basic difference is, a grinder is comparatively small in size, yet has a more powerful motor than blender or food processor. Without a grinder, you can't grind hard spices or coffee beans. you type of reviewer sends off false info on neglecting products, I don't fall for it because I'm a retired chef. UGH!!!!
BAD REVIEWS COMES FROM BAD OPERATORS, REVIEWS LIKE THIS STOP ME FROM ORDERING THIS ADAPTER YESTERDAY WHILE IT WAS ON SALE, LMBO!! YEAH!! I LEFT THE CAP ON BECAUSE OF FRUSTRATION.

How easy is it to clean? Same as the full size Vitamix, or more taking apart required?
Can you compare this to the nutri bullet. I can't decide weather to get a nutri bullet or this attachment.
youre supposed to buy the dry container for spices
Cool man, I have one of those 1900 watt sharks that I make my hot sauce with. Cool to see that in action.
You have a Vitamix? I have had this one for about 8 years... new attachment..
Great review man, looks like it works great and leaves one less dish to clean. Do you eat a lot of smoothies?
One or two per day usually
Interesting. Thanks for Sharing.
Thank you for watching
Works Very Well On Liquids Not So Much On Dry Goods. I Wonder How Well It Would Do Up Against Coffee Beans?
I'm not a big coffee fan, but i should give it a try...
Looks nice.
Thank you!
it looks like a pretty good one to me
Yeah, not bad. Thank you Silver cat

Oh for grinding power or seasonings, I just use a coffee grinder. I dehydrate food and make powder pizza, pasta sauce and such.

April G Yeah that sounds good. I hit the gyms almost 5 days a week. But i need to stop eating, lol
Glad the chili seasoning turned out good. I was going to dehydrate jalapenos and powder them but I'm worried about accidentally making tear gas lol.

Does it fit the 5300

You didn't blend it long enough it's still chunky

....👎 sending mine back… Not happy with the item… By the way if you do any more spices don't just turn the machine on keep pulsing... That might help…
Thanks.. I bought a new vitamix. so I don't need the adapter anymore...
