Opening a Sony Tv remote control

How to open the RM-GD016 Sony remote control and clean the conductive rubber buttons and contact surfaces.
Please note: I ommited to mention that I removed the batteries before cleaning the internals.
Another tip is to take a sharp knife and get a pencil and shave some of the graphite from the pencil onto the back of the faulty conductive rubber and gently rub it onto the rubber with a Q-tip/cotton bud, this improves the conductivity

Love this as I'm trying the same. One piece of advice, when presenting such an opening video make sure to show clearly exactly where all the catches are on the lid, I'm still left guessing. You showed two, that you damaged, and I think I see one on each end too.
