First heard Phoebe at a music festival in Queens featuring The National. The lineup included Future Islands, Cigarettes After Sex, and of course, Phoebe Bridgers. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was listening to an ALL-STAR lineup...and I was in heaven. What an unforgettable day.
Right at this moment I feel that if, by any chance, when we die we'd be given a chance to pick where we'd like to spend the rest of the eternity in a closed loop, I'd take this artist, this song, this studio, this sound.

“You were in a band when I was born” Is just a way of saying your older than me and there was a power balance in our relationship and you’re a creepy old guy who goes after young girls.
There's another part too though...When he says "I was in a band when you were born," it's kind of a fuck you to her. But then she takes the exact same line to say fuck you herself.
This is exactly what I was looking for from the demo version. Amazing! You guys hit all points. Thank you. There’s that last “I have emotional motion sickness” that the studio/non demo does not hit. This is right on the money.
"I hate you for what you did, and I miss you like a little kid." This first line is so fucking relatable. I love this song.
This line never fails to give me chills
Reminds me of Just Like Him by Brandy Clarke.
the way she sings it especially in the recording is special
Your audio engineers should all get a raise for this one.
Agreed completely, the drums are sounding perfect! What a piece!
They are always state of the art....I always seek out KEXP for great sound quality and Phoebe Bridgers:-)
