Gg. I’ll bite. You did some things well. As a Delhi main, I would suggest drawing out Feudal as much as possible in this matchup and denying their outside food resources. I have a harder time with council hall, but AoK is good too. It’s pretty tough to micro a lot of horseman, as you found out torching the blacksmith and that first big engagement. And Ghazi are just better in this matchup. A few horseman are good to better deny sacred sites, but Longbows are crazy good in feudal, and you get the spearman upgrade for free. As the fight drags out and you slowly work in farms, you can start adding in MAA. That fight becomes VERY tough for Delhi around 17-20 mins, especially if you deny food. Extend out with towers to get the influence. MACRO. You spent a ton of wood on walls that didn’t block anything until the right side at min 24. That could have been more farms or longbows. You can extend out as you move out onto the map. Your big advantage with English is you don’t really have to leave your base for food and you also have wood in the back. Good luck! You’re going to climb quickly.
Really great tips. I always felt like when I go Council Hall that I'm forced to sit in the base for fear of the gazi's destroying my longbow mass, vs. being able to get out and harass like normal. I'll try council hall PLUS stables for a couple horsemen like you've said on my next delhi matchup and try to get MAA online a little quicker. Totally agree about wasted wood, could have been units instead of useless walls for the first half of the game. My fear of Gazi's was too strong in this game so I made them out of fear instead of vision. Thanks so much for the advice, I love to hear from people who main civ's I'm not really familiar with. Thank you!!!
@ keep in mind, with council hall you get the equivalent of 2 archery ranges. Dropping a barracks while aging up will allow you to move out with longbows AND spears. Delhi won’t have any units out until about 5:20, and they have to pick between Ghazi or Archers. They can’t engage with just Ghazi if you have a couple spears. By then, you can take them off berries and gold and maybe disrupt their wood line depending where it is. They’ll be scrambling from behind for a bit, especially if they try to drop an early blacksmith and you can smother them from there. Ghazis are really good, but they take a bit to get all of their Feudal buildings online.
@corycosta6257 Just realized you're HaveAN1ceDay. I've watched your stuff for a while now and your videos are in my rotation because you're sick at Delhi. Thanks for all the content brother!

@@corycosta6257 That's a GREAT tip, dropping the barracks during the age up. Will DEFINITLY be trying this on my next Delhi matchup
@@reading_books_aoe4btw, there is no way to produce units into a control group, have to manually assign them.
