I have personal experience with acko platinum plan claim settlement, it was quick cashless settlement. Covers all hospital bills including food , dietician consultation, doctor consultation, medicines, bed charges etc. only thing i paid was auto rickshaw bill from hospital to home. 😊

Can we renew Health Insurance through ditto? or Ditto is just for fresh purchases? Actually I want to split Niva Bupa Reassure 2.0 family floater policy into inviduals and convert into Niva Bupa Aspire plan for two children at next renewal. Is it possible?
Kindly do not go with acko. The biggest problem is their TPA - FHPL. TPA had made the pre auth process as punishment. Once hospital puts pre auth request, they will send queries in chunks so that the TAT of 2 hrs keep extending. They can send all queries at once but they wont. This is so much harassment process as you have to coordinate hospital mediclaim deak multiple times to reply to TPA. kindly do not buy acko. P.S : i have 2 platinum acko policy and now thinking of porting.

Few people complaint about claim rejection. While purchasing policy please go through full details and mention all pre known health issues and they have waiting period for some specific illness Except this condition you will get your claim cleared Now i am writing my own experience here...
I had bitter experience with them. With least brick and mortar presence they have wilful fishy practices. One of them they take premium and hold on to it enjoying interest and return it with 40 pc cut on some pretext or other irdai must force the premiums into escrow account until acceptance or rejection

I think it is better to go for long term reputed brands.
It is a GREAT PLAN to rope in customers. Once claims hits , then premiums will hit the roof on renewal. It’s problem then

On the whole, I understood that we shouldn't buy Acko as there is not credibility and track record about it.
I had very bad experience with ACKO where they denied the claim with something that had nothing to do with surgery. I wont recommend ACKO
