Always smile when I click on RUclips and see a new video from you two ! Had to wear my heavy chaqueta and gloves on my scooter ride today. Hola from the montanas .
“A dangerous situation to one person is like a normal situation to someone else.” Well said. There are so many perspectives, so many things we see and it’s all so different and that’s fine. That’s why us giving the facts from our perspective is always going to be good because it’s real and people can see if they’re down for that or not. Glad I finally had some time to sit down and watch this video and always glad to see you guys doing well! Life lesson: taxi drivers drive crazy here lol
Wow guys this video was fantastic!! Very informative! You guys were enjoying those drinks😂😂!! Shon I k ow you are enjoying the breeze!😂 Take care guys!❤
Please share the recipe for marinated beets !! I love them and they are super cheap in Ecuador. What spices do you add? Which type of vinegar? Oignons? Garlic? Thanks in advance! :)
I'm actually going to post the video making the beets, but the recipe was really simple. After cooking the beets completely and peeling the skin, cut them up to your desired size then boil in regular white vinegar, sugar, and the water from the boiled beets in equal amounts. I put them in the jars directly from the boiling pot.
Yes, bought it from another expat that was moving to Cuenca, but I believe she originally purchased it here in Ecuador. We certainly see them for sale.
You two are fun to chill with. Maybe one day I can get to Salinas, I can hit u up & buy u some coffee ☕️ 🎉 Gonna come see for myself just like u recommend. Arriving Cuenca Oct 1st

Hi Steve and Shon, Thanks for sharing your haul with us. This is very helpful, and we thank you for publishing this with Spanish subtitles. We're like # 69 of this video. What are the ingredients in the JIF Peanut Butter? Does it contain Sugar, Salt, and / or Trans Fats? Have a great day.

Papaya was 2.60, broccoli was .44, coleslaw was 1.37 each (which I only bought because I was feeling lazy and didn't want to cut a cabbage lol). The jars were purchased in the states, juicer was purchased here. We're still in the same condo for now 😊

Interesting video. Keep up the good work. I noticed in the background that you have a Moka Pot for making coffee. Did you buy that there?

Have a great day.
Hola, thanks! The Jif definitely contains salt and sugar, not sure about trans fats though.
Question...canning jars you bought,,,, QR? or PINT?? preference?? did you pack individually in suitcase?
Pint jars, we would have gotten bigger ones but luggage space was an issue, they stayed in the original packaging then wrapped in foam and clothes 😊
More questions....The peppers you bought for $.50, what type are they?
Have you found fresh jalapeños on the coast?
Yes those .50 cent peppers were jalapenos 🙂
@@LivingLovingAbroad Thanks. Have you had to dig to find jalapeños, or do they seem available in most parts of Ecuador?
