Hi I watched the earlier Echo 4 video where you went into great detail about setup etc. Thanks, it helped me make the decision to buy two Echo 4 speakers. Aside for a slight problem pairing the two, Alexa takes a little while to set this up, the entire experience is excellent. I mounted both Echo on small tripods using the standard tripod screw socket on the bottom of each speaker. Mounting them this way instead of placing them on a table reduces some of the bass thump.
Do you have a video on using Zigbe with Alexa? I rather have a hub rather than a ton of devices connecting to my router. I also might like a hub for my devices (3 dots, 2 echos, 1 show, 1 studio) mostly with Hue V2 lights, a few Sengled (free) and a few Meross smart plugs, and 1 blink min cam that I cant seem to get working or may be the way I thought.

Amazon.de nor Amazon.co.uk will sell any Echo devices in Europe to Finland. Its ludicrous. I have bought some previously a couple of years ago from Amazon.de, now they won’t sell me any. I asked the customer service about this. Only got a roundabout answer that for copyright and legal reasons they cannot sell outside Germany or the U.K. What a joke Amazon. So why review them? Please be honest and tell European viewers this is not for every European country.
I recently added two Echo Flex's and a smart light bulb to our network. One Flex is in the living room and one is in her bedroom. I installed the smart lightbulb in my workshop. I setup a routine that when I'm in the workshop and she needs me she can issue a command to Alexa. When she does it it flashes the smart lightbulb 5 times then leaves it on, sends an announcement to our other Echo's, and sends a message to my phone. Since she's 91, its much safer than her trying to use the stairs or flicking the light switch, especially when I'm using one of the saws and can't hear her. Since then we've added smart plugs and routines to turn her TV's on and off.
I came here looking for random how to and learn about smart gadgets. I was sold watching you.😂🤣 I now own two echo dots, two Wi-Fi lights, 3 Sengled lights and a echo flex with night light! 🤦🏽♀️ My house is “lit” You sir, are doing a great job making smart things easier. Thank you. 👍🇨🇦
Just got my new dot with a clock. It’s awesome. But......I wish it could scroll the time and temp. Like a bank clock. Now that would make it perfect!!!!
Check out the echo flex. Plugs right into the wall. Has usb on the bottom for charging a phone or to use the accessories. Sound isn’t great. But you can Bluetooth to another speaker. Thanks for watching.

@@SpaceStrike yeah. It kinda sucks. Anything over an hour the clock stays on. But then once it hits 59:59 it shows on the display and the clock is gone. Kinda sucks. Would like to see that hidden. And I’d like to see the time and temp scroll like on the spot.
@@KenAdams426 good point. I guess they assumed everyone wanted to see their timers. You might just have to ask Alexa for the time. Or better yet I bought a cheap $5 battery clock o put by it
My 83 year old Mother is vision impaired and hard of hearing, she has the echo 4th generation. She just purchased a 65" Vizio smartcast TV that Alexa can turn on/off and control the volume. I tried to set her alexa up as a tv speaker beside the chair she sits in(to keep tv volume at a bearable level for other) but the tv doesn't have Bluetooth. Is there a way i can make echo dot(she has the hockey puck also) work as a tv speaker at her chair? Thanks, Konnie

Switched over from the Google home system. And Alexa is great but really needs to work on more customization on the echo show 8.
Craig, is Amazon ever going to allow more customization of the Show line of Echo’s Home Screens, like the size of the clock? Merry Christmas...🤗
Or release the option to use apps from android. Given its wired too so battery issues are not a issue.

So when setting up a timer on the new dot the timer stays displayed and not the clock? I set a timer and the clock went away till it was done.

No you cannot. You can only stream audio too or from the echos. I doesn’t give you access to the microphone when paired.

All smart home and Alexa functionality transferred over to a new echo when you setup the new echo on the same account.
