    BROKEN Taco Bell Xbox One X - But Can I Save The Bell?! This Taco Bell Limited Edition Xbox One X cost $168 (plus shipping) on eBay and, according to the seller, has a power on/off issue. The Xbox has clearly been opened before and seems like it might be having an overheating issue when I try to start it up.

      @devilmikey00 Год назад +39

      I doubt heat alone would kill it. Pretty much every modern CPU/GPU/APU/whatever will turn itself off to expressly prevent damage caused by heat. Heck, most chips these days are perfectly fine running 80-90c all day, every day. From what the seller describes it sounds like it just died. I'm guessing he took it apart after that so while not putting thermal paste certainly didn't help anything, it probably wasn't the cause of the overall failure.

    How can someone NOT put thermal paste on an APU/CPU/GPU when removing the old one. Even those guys who blasphemously mix new thermal paste with the old at least know that there needs to be something there also that guy who "repaired" the Xbox needs to be nowhere near any DIY tools or repair shop he mangled a heatsink by scraping thermal paste off it with what was probably a screw driver or a tweezer or something then he didn't bother replacing it and didn't even fully clean off the old one which fried the whole Xbox MOBO

    New animations are better than the old ones, those sounded really bad through my earphones. Thanks for changing it!

    In the setup, appreciate the videos! Maybe a dumb question but is there a way to export content in mono in soft20?

    I wonder if you can attach your own startup audio in the Xbox and have it function. What if it played the SAO Link Start jingle or even the tune from this video?

    have you ever tried reflowing or reballing the apu's? I remember the 360 days when people heated them up lots of different ways and they worked.. for a very short while.

    Something interesting, looking up ISD comes up with a product line called chipcorder, is a all in one audio record/playback IC. could this mean if we found a compatible IC we could have custom Xbox one start chimes?

      It wouldn't be too hard to just get a off the shelf one and wire it to detect power status and play a tiny mp3 or pcm audio on a sdcard lol
