- So our brand new KitchenAid Dishwasher started leaking, and almost ruined the hardwood floors in our kitchen. Whirlpool (KitchenAid) knows about the issue, and sent someone out to replace the heating element and repair it. Unfortunately, I don't trust that it won't happen again, so let's build a pan underneath that will catch the water from any future leaks without causing more damage.

This is exactly what I was considering doing now that my dishwasher has developed a slow leak and is waiting on parts. Thank you for making a very detailed video pointing out some great design ideas. Super simple and inexpensive.
Your general competency in many different fields is truly impressive! I hope you continue making videos. It gives me guidance on similar projects for my house. Thanks!
Hey commoncents1111 tx! Thanks again for the compliments, it really means a lot, and they are both inspiring and appreciated. I have plans for several more videos and topics in the future, hopefully you will find them useful. I am really looking forward to the Solar project this fall, and making some nice shop cabinets and miter bench this winter. Stay tuned, and thanks for watching!! 😊
Do it under the sink next. Looks great
