Those are pretty good items y'all found. Congrats.
First saw you in a few of Chigg's videos and so I decided to visit your channel and subscribe. I loved the gold mining segments you and Chigg did. You have some kewl ways of saying things. I loved it when you stumped Beau about a pot that was to go under there... meaning the bed. I absolutely loved it.

I love the cash coins that are a good looking coin and they have such old date. I hope you get some rain thats a steady load instead of torrential downpours. We used to visit the Central Coast as we had family living there and I loved every moment we were in your beautiful country. I can't fly now or climb stairs but I watch you and Colleen and get a glimpse of a different part of Australia. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us, I love your videos. Take care my friends, good luck and happy fossicking Mary-Ellen UK

In Hawaii and California we find old Chinese money too. In California Chinese people were less integrated until the postwar years. In Hawaii staying in one's own community was a choice made or not made by individual emigrants. Initially on cane cutting contracts people were isolated among each other. At the end of contracts, people with other skills would pursue their professions in the larger community. One also could follow specialty trades in the Plantation system. Don't have Cash dating skills, used to have a set of Vietnamese cash, and they existed in Japan into the mid 19th Century. My bits of brass here are more chunks-lathe turned stuff-macine shop chunks, copper & brass junk. In Western ghost towns I see a lot of sheet zinc.

Good to see those finds warren, but I think you may over state the Chinese in Australia and Romanize it a bit. A lot of those poor sods were send by rich men in china to whom they owed money. Their family was collateral back home and a minder was sent with them to collect all the gold till the debt and fares were paid back. Only then could they mine for themselves. The Chinese rioted in May town when the gold dried up and they demanded to be taken to a new field.

The chinese used to throw the cash coins at the flies.
    Just an opinion.

I'm married to a Chinese lady, no way she would leave any change around. Even takes all my change out of the car.
