I joined Mrs Quilty after i saw your last video where you were showing one and i love it! I really appreciate your videos because i learn so much! I did have a typo on the instructions where i cut a binding the wrong size because they mixed it up with the batting but that's ok. I also joined their fb group and i noticed a lot of people complaining about this kind of thing. I'm sure they will fix this problem and in the meantime i still love my box. Can't wait for box number 2!❤

Love how you seamed your small piece. When we do our one block wonders and do that we call them frankenhexies! 🤪 Guess that means you end up with a frankengoose! 😂😂😂 Never had anything show up in that point on front. I press all seams open on all my piecing. A habit from my one block wonders. Nice flat seams. 😉

I love the flying geese but I do NOT like making them. As careful as I am, they are a "hit or miss" with them coming out right. I will give this a try - PLUS I love the idea of a larger flying geese. Thank you for all your helpful ideas, etc. I've been watching your videos for over a year.

Is there a rule of thumb for choosing the sky side? For instance my big piece (goose) is 8.5”, should I cut the sky 4.5”? Guess I’m just asking for general info not found on the published charts out there on the internet

Never had anything show up in that point on front. I press all seams open on all my piecing. A habit from my one block wonders. Nice flat seams. 😉

I love the flying geese but I do NOT like making them. As careful as I am, they are a "hit or miss" with them coming out right. I will give this a try - PLUS I love the idea of a larger flying geese. Thank you for all your helpful ideas, etc. I've been watching your videos for over a year.

I literally just found your channel about 1/2 hour ago - I’ve already checked out the Mrs. Quilty box (looks ,Ike a great deal!) and I’m now back to yiu showing us what comes in this monthly box! My question is - is this box you are just opening the August box? The magazine looks great even for those of us who have been around for quite a few years! I’m thinking I need to sign up! Is there a rule of thumb for choosing the sky side? For instance my big piece (goose) is 8.5”, should I cut the sky 4.5”? Guess I’m just asking for general info not found on the published charts out there on the internet
