How did I not know that your house was destroyed in the hurricane!?! I know that you were involved in the huge project of collecting quilts for hurricane victims but I didn't realize that you were hit too! God bless you for ALL that you and your family do for others...AND all the while, you continue to bless your viewers with wonderful inspiration! I'm just starting this video but I had to share my appreciation of you before I continued. I LOVE what I've seen and I am only 4 min. into it.
So wonderful to sit down with my morning coffee and see a new video from you Lea. And I have a feeling your going to inspire me to start sewing up something for christmas today. I'm glad your life is getting better and your able to get back to some quilting.
I can hear the excitement in your voice…so thankful you have a place to stay & quilt while your house is being repaired❣️ God bless you for getting back on your channel & sharing your beautiful ideas & tips for quilting 😊 🙏
SO beautiful Lea! No one does scrappy like you do! I love it♥️🌲 I did the same to my old cutting mat😭 What prevents this for me, is using my ruler and the back of my old mat to cut. Using my ruler lines for cutting gives me more accurate cuts, even when I may need to butt up 2 rulers for the 10” squares. Also, you can use your square ruler for accurate cutting. Those Fabric Hut titanium blades are the best, long lasting blades I’ve ever used! Great price for multiples packs too! ♥️🌲🧵
I’m 77 and I find cutting long and exhausting, so I know what you’re saying! I make every effort to sit down while I cut. It’s not always easy, but mostly it can be done. It helps me; you can try it and see whether it helps you! And…welcome to the wonderful quilting community-slash-obsession! 🥰🥰🥰
Some times I am not in the mood for scrappy, but when you do them, I love it. I am not good at all , for matching colors. In fact I am horrible at it. So I have to use someone's actual line of fabric to make a quilt.
I really love your fabrics, I may need to sign up at FQS. Right now i'm getting the monthly box with other things added when I would honestly prefer only fabric.
Good morning! It’s so good to have you back. Hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving. I looking forward to your templates but can’t seem to find them. Help! Thank you.😊
I am not a fan of precuts. I find them limiting. So I have challenged myself to create designs for them. Good thing, as I also cut my leftovers into precut sizes.
If you're like me and can't afford the "good" fabric and need to economize, cut the fat quarters into 9" instead of 10" squares. You can get four 9" squares instead of two 10" squares. That's unless you NEED 10" squares for the pattern that you're using.

I love my Saturday Mornings with Corey Yoder, and now a Sunday Morning wit Lea Louise.
I can't wait for this week to come, for your ideas !! 😊
Welcome back. I'm so glad to hear you've got a place to live while your house is fixed. X

Your enthusiasm just spills out all over!! ❤
Thank you for showing your cutting tips. I needed this as I am a new quilter at 69. I try not to waste but takes me hours to cut what I want.

What a great idea. Thank you.
This is a great video, especially for newbies like me. 😊
Thank you 🎄🎄🎄
I make my own precuts with fabric leftover from my quilt projects. Then I have cut fabric pieces fabric ready for other projects.

Hi, I can't download the convention chart. I've tried many times but it won't work. Can you help please 😊
Tried the download twice and got nothing. Is it not ready to go yet?
❤❤❤
❤❤❤👍🏻😊
Hello do I need to wash fat quarter before cutting?
Where did you get that thread cutter?
Hi Lea 😃 glad to see and heard voice , very pretty girl friend 😘🐦👀🙏
Maybe put in a new rotory cutting blade?
Free is not free
Try the link again. Sometimes there are glitches😭 The link took me straight to the FREE cutting template. SO helpful💕🧵

Why dont you press your fabric before cutting?
The link for the free templates takes me to a $17.99 pattern.
I didn’t have a problem. The link took me straight to the FREE cutting Template. Maybe try again. It happens quite often with glitches💕🧵
