What i have to do?I want that when i put the USB stick into my computer retrobat runs automatically. Thanks for your tips for my sound problem. I fixed that.:) And for what are the visual runtimes?
@@JustJamie1983ok and that’s what I thought too, it’s gotta be that the pc I’m trying yo do this with is underpowered (pc on a HDMI stick, nothing glorious) so I’m guessing I’ve either did a mistake with going 32/64 bit or it just doesn’t run. It’ll boot the splash screen, and the EmulationStation menu boots. I tried to run a rom but it’ll return me to my menu
I have been having the worst luck with mame and Saturn bios. Dreamcast I got 2 games to work and the rest day missing bios files. I love the challenge but still frustrated
You can go into emulators folder and delete emulators. For cores. Go into retroarch folder and enter the cores folder. Delete cores from their which I wouldn't reccomend.
I'm not sure about the speed of running RetroBat on a flash drive. Maybe it's just my scenario? I bought a Sandisk 512GB USB 3.2 flash drive and installed RetroBat on it hooked up to my Windows 11 gaming PC. The PC also supports USB 3.2, but I am getting sluggish performance in the menus and am unable to play anything other than N64 games and older without choppy and laggy gameplay. I checked, and it's plugged into the highest speed USB port as well. I installed the exact same setup on my internal SSD and had no issues with speed running RetroBat with the same games. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need a different flash drive?
I understand that retrobat is like its own closed program where everything needed is in the folder but what about games bought on steam (certain 2d fighters are only on steam) i am trying to put a build together with the ultimate aim of using it for a home fighting game/arcade cabinet. Also in case of having a final build on a dedicated pc shoven inside an arcade cabinet would i bf better with retrobat or batocerra?;
All in this one here: ruclips.net/video/jeV_DTG_LzE/видео.html Batocera and Retrobat are virtually the same. Although Retrobat does support a couple of extra systems.
@@JustJamie1983 cool then i may not have to bother with batocerra and can stick to expanding my retrobat build. Though can the steam games not be dumped in the relevant rom folder or do they always need to check in with steam hence an internet connection would be necessary?
hey man i have a problem i downloaded retrobat and games in another system and i added it in a flash drive i gave it to my friend to borrow it the games dissapear but the files are still there
@@JustJamie1983 yeah but turns out i figured it out i opened bat gui it was in E/ file from the usb i have 2 drives in my pc C AND D he has C i had to out all the games to the flash drives which turned to a D file and not E is there a way to like auto change it because im gonna open a online store soon selling retro bat flash drives i dont wanna face the same problem
Is there a way to make a hotkey 'save-state' whilst in-game? Im trying to create a save state without exiting the game completely and then loading it back up.

Visual is for your animation/graphics and what you see.
Where or how do we get our cores and how and where do we put our bios?
Cores are included in Retrobat. You don't add cores. Bios file location is mentioned in this guide.

Could i use retrobat on a raspberry pi 3b. I cant find any tutorials on the internet.
It is a Windows only frontend.
Questions:
1) How to delete core/emulator for example Dolphin on Retrobat?
2) How to set core settings back to default?
You can go into emulators folder and delete emulators. For cores. Go into retroarch folder and enter the cores folder. Delete cores from their which I wouldn't reccomend.

Links are in my descriptions
Hi Jaime on mine it said access denied after the 2008 install all but it kept on downloading everything after normally. Should I be concerned?
Thanks

Try formatting the flash drive and starting again with it.

Follow steps by steps games don’t have sound, what adjustments do I need, help. 😢
Try sound settings and select a different sound setting.
@@JustJamie1983 ok I’ll try thanks 😊
Does Xenia/Rcps3 work better on Retrobat compared to batocera ?
Both equal. Likely though. Batocera would run slightly better as it dosent have Windows in the background.
Could you do a tutorial on hyperspin

Is there a way to make a hotkey 'save-state' whilst in-game? Im trying to create a save state without exiting the game completely and then loading it back up.
Sure, you can enter into Retroarch whilst in game and save from there :)
@@JustJamie1983 Thanks again mate
Just downloaded a build from arcade punks
Problem is that you cannot add to those builds. You flash a 64gb for example to a 32GB and it will eat up the remaining 32GB.
