Hello, pal. Your RUclips channel is fantastic. Do you have any video that shows how to configure a joypad button to save/load states and also to exit the emulators (usually the ESC key on the keyboard or the ALT+F4 combination do this)? Thanks.
I don't know why but since V6.3 PS2 achievments wont show up on the Retroachievments Overview, also when I try to index the Retroachievment compatible Games, only GC, PS1 and Gameboy show up, PS2 wont show up. When starting the games inside of pcxs2 or in retrobat, I get a notification that the games have achievments… really weird.
Hi all, I have an arcade setup and wanted to use retrobat, but for life of me I cannot get the fast forward hotkey (space) to stop as it's linked to my 3rd button. I've gone into retroarch settings in retrobat and shut off hotkeys. I've gone into the config file and set 'space' to 'null' like I've read elsewhere. The config file keeps reverting to original every time I run retrobat, and my 3rd button (strong punch button I call it in SF setup) won't do anything but turn on fast forward. Any help is appreciated, I'd rather use retrobat than other front ends. Ty.
Hey Jamie, I was wondering which Frontend do you recommend for someone that wants to buy a mini pc and use it solely for emulators? The ones people have told me are Batocera, Retrobat and Launchbox. I have used emulators before on consoles and on Android but not on PC and don't have a lot of pc experience. I have been told Batocera runs better and gives you better performance and can just install it on a portable hard drive (I have a usb3 2 tb portable) and the mini pc will only have a 1tb ssd. I was wondering do you have a video of all the pros and cons of each frontend over one another or can just tell me yourself. Someone also told me you can download pre configured images for Batocera and Retrobat so you download it straight to your hard drive already set up?
@@JustJamie1983 hey Jamie I wasn't talking about buying a hard drive with everything preloaded, I was talking about (like what you said near the end of the video) to download a pre made image of one of them. I'm trying to decide between Batocera and Retrobat (I think Launchbox might be to hard for a rookie like me) supposedly Batocera runs emulators better but is less compatible with certain things?
@johnmiceter for a system which boots you straight in. Go for Batocera. One issue though. It isn't compatible with Teknoparrot. Having said that. You can boot straight into Retrobat. ruclips.net/video/RfQpb7VpYI8/видео.html
@JustJamie1983 ooh yeah that's that emulator I watched a video of you playing some arcade games. So that's basically all new Arcade games and is thst the only negative then with Batocera over Retrobat would you say?
I could be wrong, but I noticed that retrobat 6.3 is consuming a lot of processor resources even though it's just on the front-end without opening any emulator.
Hello friend, inside retrobat on the psp I get in the games that the xbox 360 controller (3/0) has not been configured, using the secondary option, how do I solve it please?
After updating all games started opening in windowed mode, but not fullscreen - how can I change that? *Even with Force Fullscreen turned On in Game settings
sir can you please make new tutorial for 3k vita in this new retrobat update..because the old tutorials is error and force close the games..thanks and more power
Tks, do you have any video how to work with emulestation es_system.cfg and create outhers? The ideia is create 1st menu Consoles, handhelds, Computers etc.. and add in ex consoles PS1, ps2, genesis, etc..
Hey dude, I know you're not retrobat tech support, but curious if you ever encountered this issue: I followed your install, the front end looks great and runs smoothly but when I go to launch games I "error occurred the emulator exited unexpectedly" on every system except n64 which launches fine. I have the proper bios files pack for retrobat, which states as much on a bios check. I'm just at a loss as even nes/snes fails to launch without popping this error. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Next best thing to tech support lol. Sounds like your bios files are compatible. Have you tried launching the games using different emulators under emulators per system?
@@JustJamie1983 thanks mate. It’s not great all your media needs to be renamed. ES on raspberry pi was pretty much drag n drop and you would think this would have been the same ?
Hey guys. I managed to get this build working on a mini pc that i just installed into my bartop arcade machine. I have no issues with wireless or wired gamepads, I don't even need to to configure the key. But the joysticks and buttons of the arcade machine don't auto configure. They are recognised by Retrobat and I'm able to start mapping the keys, but once I get to the d pad (which my bartop doesn't have), I am unable to long press to skip the key, and I am unable to complete the mapping process. does anyone have any ideas?
Watched a ton of your videos but haven't found the answer to a fairly specific question. I use an xbox controller for all my emulation games. The problem is there does NOT seem to be a way to define the controller buttons per game type, aka per emulator In N64 emulation, for example, how do you change the controller definition so that you can for example play pokemon stadium. The default controller setup doesn't define some of the needed buttons. The default controller settings seem to work fine on things like genesis and snes but the A nd B buttons seem reversed on gba. How do you overcome these issues in your setups?
@@JustJamie1983 Thanks for the fast reply.... It seems my issue isnt actually retrobat as much as the specific emulators. The default one does not allow you to configure controller in that menu.
