- Right now I live on the Upper East Side (Yorkville) and pay $2,300 a month for a 1 bed, 1 bath with laundry in the building and a live in super. &&& the time has come to say goodbye to my FIRST adult apartment New York! I really want to move further down the east side so I am looking for something between $2,200 and $2,500. I started off looking for 1 bedrooms but quickly realized if I wanted something renovated I needed to switch to a studio so HELP ME!!! I think you should go to NYC housing Connect 2 and apply for those apartments.
It's a lottery system.
Each building has his own Lottery unit.
I recommend applying for apartments at least once a week .
These apartments are newly constructed and it's income-based.
It's easy and nd the rent is way less than what you are currently paying.

Come to Arizona where I pay $950 a month for a huge Duplex 2 bedroom 1 bath. Huge yard. How can you guys pay that amount of money for a Tiny place like that and they look like they are a mess….
