You are so right about holy priest with the button gloat! I've been maining mine since classic. I absolutely LOVE playing holy and setting the bar. I really wish you knew which buttons to press and during which situation to get a real feel for it. To each their own!
Resto Shaman use to be the most diverse healer. They did it all and helped keep mana up etc. it’s really fun if you like a lot of different types of heals and support.
I main Fistweaver since end of s1 (after the sheilungs gift changes) and I can't event begin to explain the fun you can have with this. For me it will always be the fact that you can roll into battle, and punch everyone in the face after a stomp and just see those bars fill up. I hope they don't change a thing to it, because with the current changes the specs seems almost perfect (just let's not forget about a brez or bl maybe, but hey it's already very very good gameplay wise)
Don't show hapiness! Blizzard doesn't like when someone is happy with the class/spec and nerfs it...
I love the playstyle of battle healers i always loved having a Mistweaver heal as vengance cause they where always able to keep up with my speed :)
The newer generation of players are very focused on being a DPS that heals as a result. Call me old fashioned, but I like the feeling of healing someone versus forcing a janky dps rotation in there. Makes Holy Priest the most fun for me. You're hitting people with powerful heals, pulling them from the brink of death-- literally sometimes; saving lives.
Before we know it, they'll just delete the heal specs and make the DPS have tons of leech and they can just heal themselves if they can maintain a good damage rotation, lol.

I stopped playing mistweaver in both pvp and pve content once fistweaving became the meta - that shit isn't interesting.

Hard disagree. Glimmer of light hpala is one of the best builds blizzard pulled out.
Dealing damage as a healer has always been a part of the role, especially since M+ started. The higher the content youre participating in is in difficulty, the more important becomes your dps contribution as a heal. Even as a holypriest. If youre not using your Holy Fire, Nova, Divine Star and SW:P in times of low incoming damage, youre just being a lazy potatoe. It has nothing to do with the newer generation of players, but with ABC - a core principle of wow since classic -ALWAYS BE CASTING.
resto druid in the raid in PTR felt SO good. Can't wait!
I've been playing wow for 15 years but never really healed much. Now I'm learning with my favourite class, the druid and I've been having a blast with all the fun talents and stuff you can do ^^
The second one I'm trying out now is disc and while it feels clunkier at low level it does get more fun with each level up

I tried Disc priest in season 3 for a bit. Didn't care for it to much. Having to maintain atonement while doing damage just didn't feel good.
@furion7040 I totally understand. I preferred the Cata version too where it was just a passive effect, but with the rework now it has become a lot more manageable. Still takes a spot in your mental stack but they keep ironing out all the issues that makes it a bit rigid at times :)

Great Guide! I play mostly healers and fun factor is a big part of choosing a main! Disc Priest and MW monk are definitely super fun to play!
Holy priest, once you get it in your hands, doesn't feel bloated. All those buttons work together harmoniously where you always have the right tool, its just a matter of triaging it faster and faster in those higher keys. The tier set hands down makes the spec feel really good since you have more power words, which we all love. It's the arms warrior of healers slamming people's HP bars with massive heals that make paladins blush. I really like circle of healing this patch since you are renew spamming you get really powerful healing circles from the renew tick build-up talent. So in an AOE emergency you can Sanctify 3x and 50% stronger circle of healing and it's like nothing ever happened.
Faeline stomp alone is so satisfying to use. Plus is so beautiful to look at. MW is low key unbelievably fun.

Picked up healing for the first yime ever at the begining of the expansion. Tried Mistweaver since i was already playin Brewmaster and Windwalker....its so much fun. Excited to get better at all 3 specs this season.
I’m super new to the game, to run all 3 specs do you have different equipment for each one? Do u carry it all in your inventory for when u want to switch or in the bank?
@@xpnkxpacx In the case of monk. Brewmaster and Wind Walker are the same stat prio so I just swap trinkets and everything else is the same. I have different gear for Mistweaver. On your character sheet when you press "C". You can set equipment presets for different specs so it will auto equip when you switch specs. But yes you will have to carry it all. If you're brand new to the game, I'd suggest just getting really good at one as opposed to trying to learn all 3.

Just got back into wow after a year break and decided to get on and try healing for the first time ever just to go to get on and see some downtime today lol but… WE GOT A NEW VIDEO WITH PERFECT TIMING!!!!

Super excited to hear MW is doing well again, used to main it, the stopped after S1 SL, actually stopped healing period, anywho, hope MW stays strong, and dont tell Blizzard its fun, they will make it “un-fun”

I randomly picked up Fistweaving in season 2 and holy shit it was fully sick. I absolutely agree that Mistweaver is the most fun and its not even close. Ive not main healed since Wrath and this spec has got me feeling a kinda way
I start maining Healer this patch omg it so much fun Monk and Druid its so fun to play I left the big damaga to big heals and dont regret anything
HA! You weren't kidding when you had a surprise for me, Flame :3 I play all the healers, keep preaching about MW brother, just spitting straight facts. MW has gotten buffed then nerfed like 4 times this exp pack already, so I'm fully expecting a nerf early into season 3, but it's just mechanically in such a damn good spot and feels so good.
Truth, haven't felt this good on MW in years!
They gigabuffed UP last weeks build. It's amazing. Disc is the most fun healing I've had... probably ever.

Hey man, I always watch your tier lists. Can you please take a second to describe what the tier set bonuses are when you do these lists based on tier sets?
Always told you that Mistweaver was baller. Sad I am not going that this tier as I do not enjoy the other two specs.
They need to bring back chain harvest for shaman. So good in dungeons. I love my shaman. Always been my main since OG BC

since when does prayer of mending heal over time?
i play like 99% only tanks since uh long time ago... and i always make a point of knowing my healers, it allows me to chain pull stuff without ever stopping because i simply know the limits of what they can and cant keep alive, besides i play as all healer specs as well and there is nothing more boring that a group that pulls slowly it makes me want to fall asleep as a healer. so this tier list is kinda neat, tho i personally found disc priest aslways the hardest for me to play, prob because its not doing exsacly what i would expect a healer spec to do :D. the easiest was always shamy healer for me followed by holy priest that is basically the definition of a pure healer to me :D. and at least in the current patch while my alt does not have 4pc new tier set i actually struggled to keep the group alive with preservation evoker during large instant damage spikes, which if i recall it was really good againts

I’ve been playing WoW since Legion. I’ve played every healer EXCEPT Mistweaver. I finally broke down and tried it over the past weekend and I was not prepared for how fun the spec would be. I was undecided on a 10.2 main and MW just skyrocketed to my #1 choice.
Goddamn it... Now I feel the need to resub on wow.. 😅
2 things i wanna say and 1 is i dont like grove guardians..i think its an extra button that i dont need at all like actually hate grove guardians and now wont be playing my druid this szn..and 2 for holy priests if you look up a build dont do the miracle worker build..do Lightweaver and divine image..ya dont need divine hymm dont need miracle worker..and it does bad healing tbh and damage..thats my opinion..good video!

Yulon Ramp was surprisingly fun in Abberus. Glad to hear MW is still killin' it -- & I always get excited when I hear "fistweaving."
Still, it'd just feel wrong not to main my druid in the emerald dream patch. I love hearing that they're kicking ass in this patch as they should!

Preservation feels like half a spec. It needs a lot of changes to be more fun.

I used to main MW. I really like it. I just couldn't handle those silly animations and style anymore. I wish WoW Monk would be something like D3 Monk.
It's pretty unfair for disc not to have kick or interrupt because other healers do and it helps team blizzard should think about it
Then try another healer, every spec had pros and cons and one of priests is no kick. Holy has to spec into chastise and then another point to make it a full stop instead of a break on damage effect

Anyone else notice devastation lmao
The newer super fast game play has more similarity with a FPS today than an MMORPG. I THINK it’s the reason most people like playing classic through Cataclysm. Cata just missed the mark because it wasn’t completed and ready for release. Cata tried to go back to TBC dungeon difficulty but by then they had LFG and in classic and TBC needed you to know you were taking a few good players. I played Restoration Druid and my Brother played a Rouge and my son played a warrior (best warrior I ever played with in TBC, in WoTLK he played pally tank and was even better) but my point was that while it was harder, it was way more fun and you felt like you accomplished something.
Also Cata’s mythic dungeons were what they should have been. Just a harder version.

Wish they put back the need to be tree form for resto druids. Always thought it was cool that I shapeshifted into a tree to heal then into a big bird to do damage.

Druids are spell casters by default so it makes sense you don’t have to shapeshift to heal. I would quit my Druid if I had to. Bear and cat make sense.

If healers still have to play so many mechanics in m+, then I'm still not interested in healing in DF tbh...
Most peoples issues healing is dealing with people who don’t use defensives and fall to the “no I won’t decurse the afflicted ad, healer mechanic”
I prefer raiding to M+ generally, but complex mechanics make fights fun. Modern WoW is more about skill while olden days WoW was more about time investment. I like the new way better.
Rest Druid is an S in 10.2

I'm main resto druid since Pandaria expansion, but to be honest playing resto druid in 10.2 is sooooo boring, I have like 1000 spells and I hate that :)
Mistweaver was always fun. Not just in this patch. It was made easier for the casual player. That is why these casuals find it fun to play. Lol
If you want lose mana every pull, just pick a priest.

IDK how rdruid AFK pet healing is fun . i've been a rdruid main for 13 years and this is the worst and boringest rdruid build i have seen. i prefer actually ramping for burst heals vs afk how much tree uptime can i have

As a new player, the term button bloat makes no sense. Optimize your kit to your liking and everything else can get set aside. Never get a single ocmplain in keys or anything. Button bloat is a made up nothing burger issue lol
