hello guys the best way to fix it.this is first go to cmd with run as administrator next write slmgr /upk and ok and next write slmgr /cpky and ok It can delete the Windows 10 product key and fix your problem my problem fixed with this way. thanks so much for your like
It won't delete anything. All it get is an error message. It says Windows Script Host at the top then Error 0x80070422 occurred in connecting to the local WMI provider. On a computer running Microsoft Windows non-core edition, run 'slui.exe 0x2a 0x80070422 to display the error text. Sorry I'm being long winded I'm no tech savvy 😅😅😅😅😅😅 any advice helps me out.

HOWEVER, When I rebooted the systeem and went back to the windows 10 activation tap it did say that the key was removed but in yellow text it suggested i`d run a troubleshoot...and once the troubleshoot ran.....it put the old key back.... So, I can remove this key as much as I want. As soon as I connect to the internet and run the troubleshoot. It puts back my windows 10 key. (Trying to sell my computer and I already did the complete system whipe option that takes several hours. Is the key registered into my motherboard? How to remove?)

Micos Pineda if you deactivate you should be alright. But in reality, you didn’t need to pay for Windows 10 pro. You could have just upgraded it with windows 10 media creation tool. And yes you can still upgrade for free.

(My Win8>10upgrade machine stopped working due to harddrive-failure. So I made a bootable SSD-hardcopy of another similar Win8>10upgrade-machine but haven't been successful so far in activating it by linking it to the corresponding (dead)machine's account, that is stored in my Outlook. Maybe it s just because of just deleting the Win10 activation credentials is not enough whilst the old Win8 credentials are still stored somewhere on the clone-harddrive.

Only thing that will happend us that you will be unlicensed windows which only means you will get watermark "activate your windows". Also I am not 100% sure if it will do only this so I am going to try 🤣
@@jojo-xb5od kinda old comment but it seems to be about windows key deactivation. Nothing bad happend. Windows is still good to use but you can't change background and you are forced to see watermark. Also don't expect to Microsoft Office to work.

I recently done a full reset on this pc and after doing so I am no longer able to do the activation of my product key. This is the same error message I have been getting from the beginning of this mishap. I have no idea how to fix it and after months on end of research I have come up with nothing. Any ideas?
If its an OEM key embedded in the motherboard UEFI, no there is no way you can remove it. On the other hand, normal windows keys do not store on the motherboard ...

Enterprise license is mostly used for places like schools, business, colleges. It’s used for a big amount of computers like 1,000 using the same key.
Asitha induwara then your in a difficult issue. It may not even be able to work by using it again because it’s a cracked version. You can get Window keys cheap for like $5 from premiumcdkeys.com I’ve used it many times

You need to use CMD or Powershell running as administrative level for it to work. So right clock on them and select run as administrator.
