Today I have a go at a baked Egg Custard in the air fryer. Let's see how it turns out! Thank you for watching. #airfryer#bakedcustard#cookingfromscratch
Hi, if you fold some foil into a strip, you can put in under your dish and use it to pick up the dish from your air-fryer. Hope this helps you. Take care and stay safe.
Hi, I really enjoy watching your channel, just made the egg custard tart, & it was delicious! Your recipes are so good & easy to understand, thank you so much. Xx
Why not pull out the drawer completely instead of having it half out of the air fryer. Also, use a deeper dish if the liquid is too near the top of the dish. Also, how much milk did you use.
You could have brought the draw right out and rested it on to the work top till you put the mixture in the dish, then just put it back in its place to cook it.
Yes normally that's how I have them, egg custard tart, but I saw this recipe and thought I'd give it a go in the air fryer. I googled conversion times and printed it out. I find I can convert any recipe using it ... we'll so far anyway. Thank you for watching 😊
I love egg custard tarts but not keen on just the custard itself. I mebbe didnt make it right. The texture of yours differed from when I made it. Yours looked nice. Maria you could put a folded towel underneath it at the front to lift it up.
I also love egg custard tarts, I have never thought of making my owe, I always have plenty of milk and eggs, all I need to get some nutmeg and look up how to cook it in a oven, as I don't have an Air Fryer. What temp in a normal oven and how long please.
It does, but it's not the easiest thing to do when I'm putting a liquid dish into it. I think I have solutions for it now like placing the empty dish in then filling it. That should make it go in and out easier ... I hope! 😂

Thank you. I like recipes which are easy to follow and not too fussy, especially as I'm quite new to my air fryer.

Thank you for the tips, they would most certainly help. I would have used one pint of milk.

I think it’s supposed to be wobbly, then you leave it to set.
Yes I think you're right. I've always found it sets better after it's gone cold.
Can you cook anything in the air fryers
So far it seems so. I have a grill and steam on it too, but I haven't used them yet.
Here in wales egg custard tart is always made in a pastry case, Im going to try your way much quicker, where did you get your converter from?

It was nice, but I must admit, i prefer an egg custard tart.
I never thought of putting something under the front of it! 😂
Hello! Is the milk measurement 16oz? Or 19.2152 oz?
It's one pint which is 20 fl oz in Britain or 16 fl oz in the US

In the oven it's 170°c (325°f) gas mark 3 for about 45 minutes.
It is really easy to make and tasty to eat! 😊
@@therichardsonssimpleliving Thank You
@@therichardsonssimpleliving Try put a old teatowel on the the work top then the air fryer on top with the handle of the edge so the pan is level
Put a book under tray to keep it level
That's a good idea. Thank you.
You could put a book underneath it perhaps
Maybe.
I thought the basket couldn’t come all the way out lol
