Greetings from North Carolina! Just this week I received my first air fryer. I don’t have any idea what I’m getting myself into. So I’ve turned to RUclips to not only find recipes but also how to use the air fryer. Thank you for your tips and new recipes.
Oh you are in for a treat, I hope you enjoy all these recipes. I tried to include some real easy beginner every day use type recipes and some snacks as well as some actual dinner meal ideas, too!

I paused the video right after watching the tortilla garlic bread recipe and ran and made myself some. Then I came back and enjoyed the food and the rest of the video. It was so good.
Also just a tip, they have precut aluminum sheets at the DG store and Dollar Tree so much cheaper than the Reynolds brand especially with the ridiculous cost of items now! They work just as good, too!
I love these recipes! Yes…the air fryer is a life changer! I have a similar version of your air fryer and have found that I don’t have to flip my food if you don’t put foil down. The air cooks the underside of the food. Just have to spray your metal rack!
These are amazing recipes. Like you, my airfryer just sat and collected dust. I eventually put it away. Lately, I brought it back out and have used it more. I love these recipes. Pop Jones is also a lover of PBJ sandwiches so i need to try this for him. I was drooling over the tortilla cheese bread, tastes like Papa Johns, I'm in. Great, delicious, beautiful airfryer meals. I must try some soon. ❤❤❤
I love how you use the split screen to show the exact ingredients in their own containers. Very helpful. I love my air fryer, too. I think I'll try your potatoes first from this video.

If you have the drawer style air fryer you can use those unbleached coffee filters as liners. They help to absorb grease as well as excess moisture which helps the food get crispy rather than just steaming
I hope we can still be friends, LoL, we rarely eat out, so no condiment packets. I've been working at using my air fryer more. I especially like it for cooking bacon, grilled cheese sandwiches, hot dogs, toasting buns. Lately I've been meal-prepping waffles and it's great for reheating. Today I meal-prepped beef taquitos using the air fryer, and these will reheat well in same. Quiche is another thing that reheats well in the air fryer vs. microwave.
Hey Mel, these recipes look fun & easy but I don't have an Airfryer & likely won't for maybe a decade or so - maybe never. It's fun to watch, but I don't know how I could convert the recipes to an oven. Can't go into why it will be a long long time before I have the gadget, u would fall asleep by the time I get to the end of my list. 🤭🤣 Love watching ur episodes all the same. Have a great week! ❤
I just used my air fryer for the first time. I did frozen chicken wings. I followed the directions on the bag and it came out great. Gourmia 7 quart. I have some Alaskan salmon and I'll be trying that next.
Hi Mel! I just bought a toaster oven that can also air fry so I am brand new to air frying. This couldn't have come at a better time. I can use all the tips I can get. I haven't even used it yet because I was nervous. This video was so helpful. Thank you so much!!The tortilla cheese bread looks absolutely delicious. I will be trying that for sure. Gonna try the garlic toast pizza too. Honestly, all of these would be perfect for when I get home from work and don't feel like cooking but want something quick and yummy. We love tuna melts. They are made like yours, except I add about a tablespoonful of sweet pickle relish and a little garlic powder, then mix in shredded cheddar.

I am in love with it! I almost gave up on it. The first time I used it i followed the directions on the air fryer and burnt everything! I absolutely love my airfryer! The dollar tree has unbleached parchment paper liners not. I picked up some today in both sizes. I heated a couple chicken tenders for my husband and it worked great and no clean up. ❤
My air fryer have shelves. So I dont have to flip my food. I mainly use my air fryer for baked potatoes and breaded chicken. Thanks for showing me these extra tips.

I started a fire in my air fryer a few weeks ago using parchment paper! It burned up really fast so it was almost over as soon as it started, but I’ll never do that again. My instruction manual says not to use aluminum foil because it can raise the temperature & cause it to overheat. I hadn’t thought about a silicone liner, but I might give that a try! That salmon looked amazing! Gonna have to try that recipe for sure! Thanks for another great video!

Honey we were in the same boat, I got this one a long time ago when we were waiting on parts to fix my oven. I baked in it, it does a bunch of different things. Once my oven got fixed I didn't think about it again and my momma kept telling me how much she used hers so I started using mine and now I'm hooked 😅
I love salmon,It looked so good. I make hamburgers in air fryer. Thick hamburgers pre heat 370 for 5 minutes. Then 375 for 8 to 10 min flip another 8 to 10 min for well done

I have the oven type air fryer sitting on my counter. Sure is pretty. I never use it. Your recipes look good so I’m willing to get it dirty to try it out. There were no instructions or recipes when I purchased it. I know everybody says not to use parchment or foil so it sits. the siicone baskets for a basket air fryer are a game changer--they keep you from having to constantly wash the metal basket--you can just remove the silicone basket and wash that and it saves the metal basket on the air fryer, so easy to wash...dts/usa

I’m excited to see this video. I can’t wait to try the potatoes in the air fryer. We like potatoes and kielbasa but some times it greasy. So I’m think of air frying the potatoes and then doing the kielbasa and then mixing it together. Thanks Mel fur giving me this idea.

Girl you crack me up!! I don't know what Papa Johns cheese sticks taste like but wanted to share that I love using tortillas (La Banderita) for quesadillas too. I bet it would be really good with the cheese like you did plus some chicken & salsa, food in half & toast the tortilla on both sides. Yummy.... I've got one of these everything ovens sitting on my cabinet~~ for decoration I guess because I've yet to turn it on!! Keep showing these with yours, I'm feeling encouraged! So funny. I bought this toaster oven/air fryer hybrid 2 years ago. I tried to make wings and set off the smoke alarm and never pursued the air fryer option after that. I just used it to make sheet pan dinners, toast bread and heat up frozen pizza. I recently bought another air fryer and then came across your videos 😅. Probably could have save me a few bucks if I had seen your delicious recipes before hand but it's all good. I will probably use both anyway since I have two sons who come visit and have a good appetite.

@tiffanybenefield1980 my mom has the basket style and she does baked potatoes in hers. Mine is not tall enough to do that, but I just saw they have a newer model and it's taller 😉 So I will have to keep that in mind when mine bites the dust 🤣

Good evening Mel, Love watching your videos. Mel, happy for you getting your air fryer. We love ours too. Out of concern would you please find out about using foil on top of the air fry basket. Is it safe to do that? I tried this in mine and it blocked air flow. Mine is a different brand. Just concerned. God Bless and thank you kindly for sharing your yummy recipes 😊. Look I found this info online: What do you put under an air fryer basket in the oven? Place a foil-lined baking sheet on the rack below your air fry basket in a full-sized oven to help simplify cleanup. Make sure to leave space between the basket and the baking sheet for proper air flow.
Our condiments are in an over the door shoe hanging thing with the see through pockets on our pantry door. Also, all the extra cutlery and straws we get from ordering out.

That happened to me also. I had the parchment paper to closer to the top and it started to burn a little also!! When I used it earlier it was fine!!

Yes, it's perfect for that! I make a lot of dishes like that and stir the taters on after air frying. Much less greasy.

Girl you crack me up!! I don't know what Papa Johns cheese sticks taste like but wanted to share that I love using tortillas (La Banderita) for quesadillas too. I bet it would be really good with the cheese like you did plus some chicken & salsa, food in half & toast the tortilla on both sides. Yummy.... I've got one of these everything ovens sitting on my cabinet~~ for decoration I guess because I've yet to turn it on!! Keep showing these with yours, I'm feeling encouraged! I might actually plug mine in 😱🤣🤣🤗💖🌹🌹
So funny. I bought this toaster oven/air fryer hybrid 2 years ago. I tried to make wings and set off the smoke alarm and never pursued the air fryer option after that. I just used it to make sheet pan dinners, toast bread and heat up frozen pizza. I recently bought another air fryer and then came across your videos 😅. Probably could have save me a few bucks if I had seen your delicious recipes before hand but it's all good. I will probably use both anyway since I have two sons who come visit and have a good appetite.

@tiffanybenefield1980 my mom has the basket style and she does baked potatoes in hers. Mine is not tall enough to do that, but I just saw they have a newer model and it's taller 😉 So I will have to keep that in mind when mine bites the dust 🤣

I don’t have one, but my daughter thinks I should have one. I am going to spend some time with her soon. I said I will learn more about the air fryer while visiting. Perhaps I might need one by the time I get home.

Good evening Mel, Love watching your videos. Mel, happy for you getting your air fryer. We love ours too. Out of concern would you please find out about using foil on top of the air fry basket. Is it safe to do that? I tried this in mine and it blocked air flow. Mine is a different brand. Just concerned.

Our condiments are in an over the door shoe hanging thing with the see through pockets on our pantry door. Also, all the extra cutlery and straws we get from ordering out.

Thanks for video I got one last year for Christmas my son an his family got it for me I got a xl power one mine got I fix 🥓 in it it did good but I had put mine in cake pan a lot of lard come out of it mine have racks in mine air fryer
