I think the brownies are good. They did some with smarties on top too. I prefer dairy milk chocolate, although I like the aero mint bars and maltesers. My husband isn't too keen on chocolate, he's a jelly sweet person. I'm not keen on jelly sweets myself which is good as I get to keep my chocolate and he gets to keep his jelly sweets 😂 Thank you for watching 😊

I've bought my older ones a tub of Halloween jelly sweets, but some don't like them so I get them Cadbury chocolate. My smallest ones have a little halloween bag made up with buttons and freddo bars, just soft things they can chew as they're only 2. I like all of the novelty chocolate and I think the chocolate bombs are good where you melt them in hot milk for a chocolate drink. I bought some Halloween ones last year, but not this year. I might get some of the Christmas ones for their stockings this year. So many lovely things to choose from. Thank you for watching 😊

I've tried to get back to full fat milk like I had as a child. I'd changed to skimmed milk in my 20s and because I'd only had skimmed for around 40 years my body struggled to change back. I eventually managed semi skimmed, which took some doing, but I'm OK with it now. I can't take full fat milk though, so for now we've all gone to semi skimmed. People are definitely cutting back on their shopping. I remember a few years back I'd spend between 120 to 150 a week, now, apart from the once a month iceland shop, its between 60 and 80. It is worrying the cost of it all. I concentrate on the children first, then the adults if there's any money left. I'm already warning the older ones that I might only beable to get for the children this year. We'll see what happens. I love looking around all of the Christmas things, especially in b&m, but it does get you down a bit if you can't afford what you'd like to buy them. My four eldest grandchildren are teenagers so they usually get gift cards, toiletries and chocolate bits, whereas the three younger ones are easy as they have toys. It all adds up though. I'd love a larger store. Ours was OK until they decided to sell clothes and halved the shop to do so. I'd noticed the party bags shrinking , especially the ones in Tesco. Not too bad for a pound though. I get a few different flavours, they're OK for buffets. Thank you for watching 😊

Crumble with coconut is nice, and I like Crumble with oats. Apple is my favourite. I remember our butter, we never had a fridge when I was small yet the butter, which looked like a brick, was always hard. If it'd hit someone on the head it would have knocked them out! 😂 I'd love an air fryer with a window so I can see what's going on. My air fryer is very basic, I shouldn't grumble though, it does a good job. Thank you for watching 😊

The Crumble tasted nice, but I was bothered by it being too golden (I won't say burnt, lol) but it was pointed out that it might just have been where the coconut had toasted a little. It's funny how often we think of the past when we go about our daily business. I'm often doing something around the home and I think to myself ' I remember when ...' I don't tend to buy too much fish as its only my husband who eats it, so I just buy what he likes. I have bought some iceland veg before, but I mostly have garden grown veg. What I don't grow I get from swapping with neighbours and allotment holders. I've been swapping apples for the last couple of weeks, I ended up with 3 laundry baskets full! Lol. Oh gosh, I love lemon meringue pie! I have 3 freezers, one is a fridge freezer so it tends to be open items that go in there. I then have a small chest freezer under my stairs, I keep bread, milk and things I'm going to use for the week in there. My third freezer is a large chest freezer in Dean's workshop. That one isn't always switched on only when I'm doing buffets or to store christmas food and produce out of the garden. Thank you for watching 😊

The weather is terrible at the moment and definitely dropped colder. I like stew and dumplings, I make it in my slow cooker, its lovely. I like using the slow cooker, I'm going to have to find more recipes for it. You will be busy tomorrow. When I was at school I helped do harvest festival packages. We boxed up all of the donated food into the amount of boxes needed. Pupils were asked if they knew an elderly person who might need one to put their name forward. They were then distributed out. I remember getting one for my granddad once. I don't know if schools still do this, probably too much red-tape now. Thank you for watching 😊

They sound good. I saw lots of Halloween stuff in Tesco, but I didn't look through it all. I only get the buffet food, it's Dean and my eldest daughter Lisa who do all of the decorating. I'll have to take them in to see what decor they have. They'll love it!

Hi maria you got value for money icant get anything in to my freezers they are both full so I can't go to Iceland ill have to get the freezers down before I go at the minute I just go for cat food litter and the essentials like milk bread butter eggs bacon cheese I've got loads of tin things in mum taught us when you use something replace it so I do my son goes mad he says mum you've got loads in why go shopping and I say for bits he says 4 bags are not bits I say we'll it's what we need when j go iceland I'll try that fish cos you can't get them cheaper anywhere round our aag a small fish is about 4 pound love fran xxxxxxx❤❤❤❤❤

I love the garden centres this time of year. They have wonderful Christmas displays and lots of goodies you don't see in the supermarkets, although they come with a price.
