- For this First Ride we take a look at the all new 2019 Suzuki RMZ250. This bike features many of the cosmetic updates that the bigger brother 450 received in 2018. On the dyno the bike has gained horsepower compared to the previous model. Target 250 test riders felt that the bike was sprung for a heavier rider and felt stiff. Heavier riders were able to get on the bike and feel at home on the suspension. Bike would be fantastic out in the hills somewhere like Beaumont. Sounds peppy AF
this is way more fun than the 450, its really fun to top out a lighter bike, and you have less inertia, less weight, the bike for a 185lb rider 5"11 with a cut seat, so much fun with the suspension.
Id choose the 450 250 are decent but they dont stand a chance against a 450

Suzuki definitely hit the mark for best looks in my opinion. I sure wish I would have been able to find one to sit on because for some reason I keep looking at it even though I bought the 19 yz250f

On my 450 first thing I did was have suspension done and set up for me best improvement on any bike

They cant put a better coating than that on the clutch cover. smh.
Used to i didnt like suzuki, but now i so after more torque and one of the better looks out of all the bikes.
Honestly think the new rmz body work is the best looking out of any of the bikes. I just wish it performed as good as it looked

Yes they all have more power and are faster than you can actually make it go. So pick the one you like!
The yz and kx have noticeably more power throughout the range

Dylan Dailey it’ll be fine, I am the same height I ride 85s and 125s and ride a 250 sometimes and I don’t notice anything wrong. It is a little big but still fun

it does not matter that the suzuki is on 6th place. suzuki will not sell sell this bike to the young riders.
they will sell it for the older one. it is a bike that is dimensioned for 90 kilogramm.
i am from germany, i dont know how much this is in american weight.
but i know this bike is build for heavy riders.
if you are 50 years old and you weight much more as you are young,
than you are right with the RMZ 250, 2019

F your shootout and dyno results, just review the bike on its own. people need to stop buying motorcycles based on shootout results.
Sounded like he should have been shifting up. He is guarantee not to go any faster sitting on the rev limiter most of the time. If the rider didn't want to go any faster that ok but then don't say it does not go on top end.
pretty ignorant of him. Everyone knows zooks love to be short shifted versus something like the CRF250
