The flaw in most people's reasoning is that they feel they have to be 'asleep' in order to 'dream'. All 'dreaming' simply is, is awakening to true reality, but the biggest problem lay in the fact that people are too jaded and blinded by their master (reason) to permit this reality to permeate their lives. In reality all that is required to 'dream' is to set aside reason and allow things to take their natural course.
So incredibly illuminating! So helpful! Amazing! Every time I watch a video of Nyei I am moved and amazed in ways I can't fully explain, yet am certain its profound and elucidating! Thanks Nyei and thanks Guru Viking! I believe I am learning, or at least being exposed to something of great interest and value! Its very inspiring!
This is great - like many of us who have read the Castaneda books and have some of our own experiences or disciplines, I've never made it to a tensegrity workshop (some practice groups) and I also am hesitant about how to talk to women on these topics because I am not sure of the differences. It's good to know they struggle with a lot of the same things us guys do; more or less.
How much did peyote, mushrooms, and psychedelics play in this information? Why is she still here while the other women “disappeared”? What is her opinion of who and what Castaneda was? Does she see this movement as a cult? I would love to hear her speak about her direct experiences of all she talks about. We can talk about other’s experiences but until we experience them for ourselves, they don’t exist.
In the 1st video she was asked about that but she says that 5 years prior to that video, she talked about it in another podcast/interview, so it's to look for it. I don't know who she was interviewed by, so I haven't yet looked for it yet
I am in agreement with most of these parallels of Carlos dream technique and the Tibetan dream yoga practices.I remember some Lama saying that everybody, no matter what belief or religious views they hold, when they die they goes through the Bardo
The benefit of training in a procedure is learning to control your actions toward a goal. The usual case is that dreams morph, and you have no contextual grounding to assimilate what is happening. Therefore, the non-sensical events of dreams are discarded almost immediately after waking. When you have trained yourself in controlling the dream consciousness assemblage point, you have both position and perspective in the dream space. Seeing your hands or yourself in a mirror compounds your sense of agency and will. Development of will consolidates intent, and intent moves you through the dream space from one event to another. You become the navigator instead of an unconscious blob bouncing around. (See pictures of orbs, which are disembodied life forms, human and otherwise. They inhabit spaces but have little or no agency.) The changes resulting from mastery of the dream space include becoming sharper and more insightful in waking consciousness, having a greater connection with intuition, and, at very advanced levels, affecting outcomes and timelines in Reality Prime. In effect, you rise above being just a rat in a laboratory maze into an astral rat looking down on the labyrinth and instantly being able to identify the correct path to take.
The people that question the truth of CC's writings are stuck in energetic mud so to speak. He already stated that the books are only indexes to grow ones awareness. Instead of doubting everything they should try some of the excersises he puts forth.
In these current times we are all familiar with the debunkers. I've noticed that mostly their explanations are even more outlandish than those whom they debunk. For example swamp gas. WE who have taken direction from CC know differant just as we have have been up close and personal with a UFO know. We are knowers not believers.
I'm starting to remember a lot of stuff when I was better at dreaming (slowly coming back)... I had a lot of re-occuring scouts. Colors seem to be a big indicator of the same scouts coming back. I suspect not ALL the scouts are alien but could be other people dreaming. For example...there was a time I would go and gaze at a creek behind my apartment complex, just to practise my attention...directly following this, a red eyed 'man' although it didn't seem human, would come to my apartment door, I could see it through the peep-hole of my door looking back at me - although I was dreaming this ...well, from then on I would go look out the peephole many times out of paranoia. I wonder if the creek had anything to do with it; overall a bothersome experience although fascinating. Blue eyed scouts were also recurring - these ones seemed less alien and more familiar. IDK I'm a flakey dreamer. I do wonder what the colors of the scouts mean if anything.
Are pixies, angel's, deceased ancestors classified as non-organic beings? I have had experiences with the perception of these, could they just be manifestations by non-organic beings to look like something recognisable to our awareness? In both cases they were luminous and I was close enough “in the energy field “ of one of them that I could feel it vibrate a “gold yellow light” that made me vibrate at the same frequency. I had an immense feeling of gratitude and well-being flowing from my heart at the time. I presume that humanity has been in a symbiosis with non-organic beings for the majority of our existence and they have manifested themselves as spirits, ghosts, angels etc. Because we are becoming fixed as a society in the position of “ Reason “ we no longer have space for non-organic beings in our perception, I hypothesise that non-organic beings may be controlling us through our technology in the first attention. Could this be possible?
And tin his work, he describes Ahrimanic energies as being inorganic as well as he says that we need to develop in that way that we learn to control them (not fight).
I'm left to wonder about many aspects of this and other interviews of this person. I've been blessed with an ability to go into a dream and hear it in the language of the individual dreamer. I've had some "formal" training by shamans, but typically use very little of this when given a dream to interpret. We tend to dream as we think, which makes understanding an individual's thinking process fairly critical to accurately seeing any message being conveyed. I also wonder when CC achieved "nagual or sorcerer" status. I know this woman refers to him as such a person. But I'm not convinced this is/was the case. No aspersions being cast here. But there are levels and degrees of comprehension in all aspects of this realm. And without exception, all these "ascended ones" are quick to point out the critical need for particular protection and guidance. As an elder, I've found it much more effective to personally deal with my paradoxes and perceptions, shadows and light. I've always tended to an aversion for questions and answers.
Is the Castaneda saga still ongoing after all these years? Are there still people out there who believe that Don Juan was real? How does Nyei feel about Carlos being diabetic and eventually dying of liver cancer? (I didn't watch the whole video so apologies if these points were answered)
Also reading the books it's pretty clear that Carlos didn't really manage to really master all the things he wrote about. Doesn't necessarily mean what he wrote was not true
@@cardcounter21 but why would he write the books like that then? If he was making it up why would he not just write that he figured it all out? He admitted all the way through that he was lost most of the time
In 1976, Richard DeMille, son of director Cecil B. DeMille, published Castaneda's Journey, a point-by-point repudiation of Castaneda's tale of don Juan. He noted that Castaneda kept no field notes, incorrectly used Native terms, inaccurately described Native practices and everything he claimed to have uncovered was already known to anthropologists and researchers. For those who found meaning in Castaneda's work, these pointed critiques didn't matter. UCLA also stayed silent on the matter, although the university had promoted and published the work.
Yes, and awarded him a Doctoral degree for his trouble. Which was no small thing back in the 60's and 70's. Haven't read DeMille's book, but I'll just say that a perspective from the mundane will always lack true comprehension of the Aetherical realms. As Gibran once wrote, "Truth that requires proof is only half truth". The tendency to pass judgement on this entire subject is understandable. But it seems that unless the same rigor is used on all other explorations, it is nothing more than agenda and/or propaganda driven bias.
Dreaming? back in the early seventies we were hungry for spiritual guidance of psychedelic tripping. Reading these books wasn't very effective. The writing was so etherial it turned out to be wrong for the bump and grind of an acid trip which could be pretty intense. He must of been a sweet man. If I recall he writes about eating Peyote?
He wrote about peyote mushrooms and datura. But it becomes clear that Don Juan only gave him those remedies because Carlos needed to be loosened up. He was too academic. Don Juan had students that didn't need any of those things
Literally makes no sense. The energy / dreaming body is actually created by the dreamer when they look at their hands in a lucid dream. The 7 gates of dreaming are for developing or forging our dreaming body. All she does it repeat what she has been told, she isn't speaking about anything in her personal experience.
Perhaps power will select you for a similar interview then :) She talks about her dreaming at 37:36. But forgive me for poking you, I also understand the need to hear that other people besides Castaneda have had these experiences that are unique to their situation. It is exceedingly rare, but they have! :) By the way, in Art of Dreaming they talked about only 3 or 4 gates? I wonder about the others.
I gave up sex in 1990 based upon don Juan's recommendations. When he says that the energy needed for dreaming requires, for most folk, a life of celibacy...he isn't kidding. In 1990 I stood at a crossroads - sex or amazing guitar? One or the other. I chose guitar.
... I read every book Carlos Castaneda has written ... I don´t remember him talking about Nyei Murez as a personal student ... blue Scout - Patty Parton ... ok, the scout got a name later ... Cleargreen was founded after Carlitos death ... who is Nyei Murez ? ...
Carlos made his books and appeal seem better then usual. He didn't mention he hated it because the spirit fucked his daughter up mentally and she committed suicide. Nyei murez if that was a worthy name is just a puppet of the spirit in the line light disservicing herself . The only thing they DNT say in these books is what all shamans know . Wow, very interesting comment...have to let it simmer a bit🙏
The first obstacle of dreaming is when you wake up and see yourself asleep. That is the first time of the energy body.

Me too.

Hello, Nyei. I used to "dream" several times a month. Now it's rare. But now I feel as if I'm dreaming most of the time ... shelley isom

Thanks for checking it out! :-)
Thank you so much for giving us this beautiful interview.

You are very correct.

Yes, in Rudolf Steiners Antroposopy, these thechnological energies that permeate our world are called Ahrimanic energies.
And tin his work, he describes Ahrimanic energies as being inorganic as well as he says that we need to develop in that way that we learn to control them (not fight).

Indeed
Thanks a lot for thise video/
I tried to give instructions on how to control your dreams but it was too long. Anyone who wants it, I will give the link.
Count me in please!

Hi
This lady doesn't appear to be any where near old enough to have collaborated with CC on his literature.
So she was in the “cult” but chose to live instead of following the leader??
What cult???
The cult of cultivating ones awareness?? Isn't that what we should all be doing instead of watching TV and playing silly games!
The only worth while resource is to read and reread carloses books. Study them as if its your Bible. Nothing else will do?!!!
She doesn't offer anything more or new. You might as well just read the books.
Just still riding on the coat tails of Carlos 20 years later.
An unexamined life is not worth living, so get a cat!! But dont listen to these video's
