sir i have installed a 5 kwh solar system offgrid at sankarankovil but i am using the power for 2 hours only then the rest of the time, it is not used. But i need to use energy for other AC needs like to run compressors. For this i need to use it directly from AC source power supply. Daily 6 hours of energy is wasted. how to link this source of energy to ongrid and canvas saving to use the main AC source for other needs.

sir what you are saying is right. but the problem is not everyone has such huge money + being in wfh anyway we need a inverter at home.
commercial sense matters for who has enough money. but as inverter substitute for me its completely ok for savings some 100+ units. i never do extra maintenance as people. just after 5 years i have to replace batttery anyway i will have to change it even without solar. more than commecial sense, i would say what matters is the requirements of the peoppe who uses it.
Sir, when discussing about off grid system We focus mainly on reliability of power even in the situation of grid power failure. More than that the ROI will decrease if Tangedco increases tariff. I generate approximately 3kWh per day reducing approximately 200kWh per billing cycle . I pay Rs 100 and plus per bill. During day long power cuts say nearby SS maintenance I am not disturbed as all my equipments are available for utility except AC.
Hybrid System is the best in the point of initial investment, return of investment and maintenance. Many of the homes are using inverter and battery System by default. In Hybrid System we only have to purchase the inverter & battery as solar compatible which little more than normal inverter.
Only solar panel & installation is the additional investment.
In case of battery replacement, if your having a normal inverter also your are by default going to change the battery in 6 or 7 years, same applicable to Hybrid systems also. So commercial point is more in Hybrid systems for home.
There are two things inverter does..
1. Convert DC to AC
2. Controls the fluctuations coz current generation will not be the same everytime it differs

Sir there's some charge for using the grid from govt .. could u plz elaborate bout that plz ? So many of them are payin the charges to tneb for per kw for wat they hav installed... If installed 5 kw means they paying 120rs per kw as bimonthly bill...

Hi sir ,I just installed on grid 3kw on Jan 2022 ,but from Eb fellows doesn't know how to take Reading so that I am suffering a lot ,even if the net is negative they charge me 1000k ,other time they write it as door lock &charging me the before month charges if we are available too,all those started of not giving bribe they asked ,so suggest me where to raise complain regarding this issue ,where they take action effectively.

Though I have netmeter given by EB , my service connection in EB says Feed-in service .. you have mentioned in the video there is option to opt-out , how can I change my service connection to netmeter service?. Local EB staff doesn't have option to change nor have rights to update...

When tneb power fails ,( grid failure ) for safety reason ongrid inverter stops generation. So system will be off .

Last 7 months I am exporting average 600 units per month. But I never get any amount from TNEB instaed I am getting fixed charge of Rs 524 in bill .

Sir.. all I want to know whether TNEB adjust unit to unit or TNEB Gives some amount and adjust the tariff - ongrid
TNEB adjust amount only which is Rs.2.08 /unit only TNEB gives.
Now TNREC increased the amount that TANGEDCO topay to the prosumer to Rs 3.61. But to you have to pay Wheeling charge Rs 1.27 per unit you produce and selling to TANGEDCO ( some 20% concession for domestic consumer is there I think). If you produce 1000 unit and consume 100 Unit though it is within free range you have to pay current bill Rs 1270 (if no concession). This is only in Tamil nadu.

@@scienceisreligion5618 bro if on grid you have to spend in lakhs. Whatever i suggested is for who needs an inverter when there is no grid power so that we never run out of power. Tell me what will you do if you spend 3 lakhs but there is no power in night?
If you go for full fledged 3 to 5kva both on grid and off grid won't help since u anyway need battery at night for on grid to cover up or to live in dark. And off grid with so many batteries is a foolish idea because, you can never get the returns back.
If you have money on grid along with small inverter as backup with single battery is the best solution. But not many have so much money
So in the current market better to go for off grid with minimal investment with single battery which anyway we will change for inverter be it on grid or off grid. My motto here is to have power at home 24X7 + some power savings. I am saivng 1.5 units on avg daily that will do for me for a good inverter setup it will take 25k. Adding 20k gives me advantage of relying on solar even of there is a whole day of power outage i can survive with it for my basic needs. This to me is the cheapest solution

I have 1kva inverter + mppt charge controller + 400w solar panel + 150ah solar battery. Anyway i already need an inverter. This setup will ensure me power 24 xx 7 for my basic needs + 1.5 untis savings per day. For my financial level this will do. I just invested 20k more over inverter.
