My bunny was put to sleep early in the morning on December 23 2014. He had a heart condition that he had shown no signs of until it was too late. Not one of my favorite days, as he was my first pet and I spent most on my day huddled in my room listening to mcr and crying.

One day after work, I went there, she was not reacting or anything, just eyes opened, almost sleeping. The morning after, the vet called me to tell me she was gone. I always imagine that she survived one more day just so I could go see her one last time. Damns pets, we love them so much.
I feel like poor Gee and Mikey had to wear sunglasses because they knew they were going to cry. In the beginning it almost sounds like Gee is choking back tears and it breaks my heart to hear this. The way I see it is, Gerard Way, the sassy killjoy and Mikey, the adorable, sparkly puppy, probably can't hear this song without crying... Poor babies...

Till 2004 Gee used to wear sunglasses whenever he was drung or high so this may be the reason. Well for the choking sounds, his voice is really just made for higher-pitched songs and singing with your body in a loose position is even harder. He died almost two years ago, and I could never EVER listen to this song w/o crying, especially when "But counting down the days to go, this just ain't living." comes up, because my dad never not once complained about his immense pain, but you could see in his eyes how he felt. But he was always SO cheery. He was the one slowly dying, slipping out of my fingers for almost three years and he had to comfort me. He was my best friend. RIP Dad, love you
The black parade was a geniues of an albumn , because it covered death , with powerfull music and lyrics . And gerrard is the ultimate frontman dark passionate, sexy. I don’t think that albumn will ever be beaten .ever .

i don’t recall ever hearing this song before, if i did i wasn’t paying much attention to the words i do that often when listening to music, i’ll focus more on the melody than the lyrics, don’t know why it played on the music mix at Grape Ape Tattoo & Gallery when i was getting inked up recently, i asked the name of the band i wasn’t paying much attention to the words then either, i was enjoying the soothing melody plus when i’m getting a tattoo i’m in a relaxed state of mind, kinda like a meditative trance, almost dozed off during a couple of my tats driving across town yesterday i asked siri to play mcr, after a couple songs this one played and i immediately recognized the melody i was quite surprised when i saw the name of the song on my dashboard display, i listened closely to the words this time, boy did i listen, it hit home hard almost too hard it resonates so closely what i’ve been feeling and have expressed before, i’m not afraid to die what i fear most is saying goodbye “cause the hardest part of this is leaving you”

No, their Grandmother did not have cancer. I don't know what she had but I know she died due to complications when she was having a heart surgery.
