You would think 375 is too low but I've been driving this as a rental car for the past week and it surprisingly handles amazingly better than any previous 40i model. I've owned an F10 550i 6-speed, another auto, an X5 50i, an X6, and an iX. the iX and the X7 are definitely the best models in all aspects
In response to your query...I love the look of the front end. This was a very good and informative video, particularly when you go into detail about the kinds of things that potential buyers want to know about a vehicle with which they are not yet familiar. And you get 1000 bonus points for showing us what the car is like with a child car seat in position on the second row. I wish more video presenters would think of that.
I love the look of BMWs. I however drive my cars up to 200-250k miles. I don’t lease. Every time I get excited with the thought of a new BMW I have to pause. Toyota/Lexus is honestly not as exciting but keep going back. 🤦🏾♀️
Don’t keep a BMW or Mercedes after the warranty expires. They fall apart quickly and are Very Expensive to repair. I have a friend who bought BMWs and Mercedes for years but after the last 3 breaking down constantly he bought a Lexus and LOVES it. He told me that he’ll buy Lexus from now on.
how do you get to 97K without getting the M sports package? I mean there are ways to get to 97k but at that price point, how does someone not configure it with the M sports package?

I watch AutoTrader with Rory when i need to see a brother killin it on his auto reviews, or I watch Edmunds to see Carlos Lago do his thing, representing Latino Americans! It would be hard for me to hate the front end (below grill area) more. Not sure what’s wrong with BMW? Maybe because they’re trying be luxury AND sporty simultaneously. They should leave sporty to sedans and sports cars.
My partner purchased one of these... and I HATE HATE HATE all the controls that have been pushed into the touch screen - particularly the environmental and entertainment controls. I want to be able to change things at the push/turn of a button/knob. The other thing I REALLY don't like is when you put it in SPORT mode... at night... the interior dash lighting goes RED. RED = SCARY. STOP it. Leave coloring/lighting alone.
Its enough for daily use. My family owns the new gen X7. It has enough grunt to get up and go, the new 48v mild hybrid helps as well. Of course there is the M60i available as well.
I can’t connect with this presenter. He is so Caucasian. BMW needs to provide more of their vehicles to the other outlets that represent the rest of the USA. Car Gurus really needs diversification with its group of presenters.

For... worse. The front facia and the seats are deal breakers. I'm shocked BMW did not listen to their customers on those seats.

There is no comparison. A gloried Pilot isn’t even in the same league as an X7.
Savagegeese bought the X7 and in his review he literally says you can’t compare the MDX to the the BMW. They’re not in the same league 😂

Engine is fine. The controls for climate control and entertainment system makes it a no go. I get a Tahoe instead. Unusable at any speed.

BMW underrates engines. 0-60 is 5.8 secs which is only 0.3 secs slower than a GLS V8!
