I was bracing myself for the cost of drinking in Iceland, but as someone who drinks out in London I'm not even batting an eyelash at these prices 🤣.

Watching all of your expense vids, I realized that Hawaii isn’t much different (some things are way more expensive in Iceland, but for the most part, it’s pretty similar). It’s those dang import fees

What´s the average cost for a good beer in the US at a bar in a city centre?

Jeannie - Life With a View I had THE BEST drink at Mulaberg in Hotel Kea in Akureyri - originally 2400 ISK, but 1100 during happy hour called Bubs. It had licorice in it. Delicious!!

1700kr is on the lower end for good craft beers, though. I routinely pay 3000kr+ for a good beer.

If I want to waste money, I won't waste it on alcohol. But if I did, I'd just buy a few bottles from vinbuðin and drink them in my apartment.
