I just gotta say this is one of the best Pokemon Card channels I have ever found. Every video I’ve seen is very informative about really interesting cards that don’t get enough love in the hobby. Keep it up man!
I sell these quite often on whatnot, definitely not known to most but people really do fall in love with the art and or being collectible. The commons are a few bucks each but those prisms can be quite expensive even for raw prices.
@@intergalactictoast96 I have the 1997 series atm, I can source some 1996. Finding a lot that’s in good condition for a far price may take me some time.
Fell in love 10years ago with the carddass set. Hard to find them in your local area's unfortunately. Ngl but I got loads of the carddass set but still missing a lot of the holo's and secret rares
I love this set, possibly my all time favourite. One thing I've always wondered though is why the Pikachu from the 1996 set has the yellow belly, but in the later 1997 set Sugimori drew it with the original white belly design. The same with the Charmander and the bump on its back. Do you have any idea why?
@@shinylugia Its on my list! I might make a short for it instead of a full length video because there isn't that much to say outside of their origin and market prices.
Did you watch my video on the 1996 cards? I don’t believe there is a difference outside of the exclusive pokemon like Arbok for example, where it has text on the front stating that it was traded from another version
@@sleevenocardbehindthanks for the response! It’s possible I did but I binged a lot of the vids so wouldn’t be surprised if my memory ran out of space 😅 will check out and good to know!

That "No Data" stuff was always something I wondered about.
Yeah! It also applies to the starters, since they can’t be found in the wild
This art is amazing, I’m surprised I haven’t seen these before
Thanks for the video! It finally got me the basic info I needed to start collecting the set. Just bought my first 6 cards 🙂
Best of luck!
They look super neat love em 😍
Being a Gen 1er this set is amazing! I love how they depict some attacks and the personalities of the first 151!
YES! This is the video I've been waiting for!!! I'm so happy!!
That card with red and blue is amazing
i bought the set after first learning of these from your last video, still hunting the checklist's to master the set though!
Congrats, it’s an incredible set of cards. Best of luck finding a good price on the checklists

I believe it’s just the early days of Pokemon, before the designs were finalized. On the jumbo cards you can see Charizard with one horn on its head
nice video
could u try out the gemloader sleeved binder
Poor psyduck lol
Can you cover the E3 Pichu and E3 Hoppip cards? I’m wondering since I have the pichu (which I got for 4$,) and basically no information exists on it.
Those are rare cards! I just checked eBay and listings are asking for $1,000+ as a set of two.
@@sleevenocardbehindCan you make a video covering it?

@@sleevenocardbehind Thanks :)
Are the back also stickers?
Nope
Do you know the difference between the green and red 1996 cards?
