@@Verysickbeats you’re super talented with a ton of gear knowledge so idk of anyone better to ask this: Do you know how Battlecat made those wild eerie lead synths on tracks like “Tales From The Hood” and Ras Kass “Marinatin”??? Or any VSTs, or methods that we can achieve them with the technology at our hands today?
My main music is djent , metal music. But thanks to my bro I love g funk . He likes all the old school rappers that no one in the UK knows like c-bo , spice one, mc8 brother lynch all the Westcoast beats are gold . Its a shame its all mumble jumble now days . I'd love to make these kind of beats . I just need to crack the bass and mix
This is incredible piece of art and explanation of how to make that g funk style sound, really dig it man keep doing what your doing. Thankyou For this video it’s helped me a lot.
Original Battlecat vibes! Reminds me on "Snoop Dogg - the box". Great job! Yes please bring back your talkbox. Some tutorials would be nice. I bought myself one as well a while ago but it's harder to use then i thought lol
Great job... Brought me back to the days of the late 80s and early 90s with that Roger Troutman sound and Gangster Boogie... Subscribed straight away!!!
Much thanks from the netherlands. Im new to the producing and west coast is def high on my list to master , but since im new im just follewd your video. That way im getting familiar to the process and gonna makd my own stuff , much apriciated
You do a good job fam. I spend more time trying to put an idea together and often times don't finish the idea. You went through this with a breeze. Dope !
A smooth Summertime G Funk track for sure, dope! Would like to see you make more of these type of tutorials. You should consider making a smooth G Funk midi chord pack for purchase.
@@Verysickbeats I’ve been looking for those west coast type synths everywhere so I’m glad to see your range with the plugins OG. You gotta do a DJ Quick one next
You damn good at what you do bro and I like that you got old school keyboards in the back that you actually doing songs with me and so keep doing it bro I’m checking you out and I’m subscribed to you. Keep up the good work bro.
This 🔥🔥🔥Track bangs hard definitely battlecat sound. You definitely did him justice 💯 My weapon of choice like battlecat is the Mpc 3000 the warmth, low end and swing/timing straight out the box is in a world of its own imho great video new subscriber. Love and blessings HNY from London 👊🏽
Since you’re not good with the Talkbox, try getting the electro spit man is so easy to use that thing brother you’ll be amazed, especially if you like doing songs like Rogers out and talking through it you’ll love the electro spit
I swear Filt and I are the only people on earth that still have the MPC500 lol.. But glad it was my 1st one because after learning to chop with numbers, visual waves were a dream lol.. I was just using it standalone with no software at the time other than importing the “complete” beats lol.. can’t lie it was hard as hell to learn that why haha..things get much easier when You’re better equipped.. Things are wayyy easier for DJ’s and producers/beat makers nowadays…….. also, I’ve never used Serato or traktor or any of that.. I still think it’s important to learn how to mix etc without that stuff 1St. I think you’ll be a much better DJ not to mention much more respected if you can actually spin with just a mixer and vinyl and things like that… just imho.. ✌️music is life!! Shout out Toronto, and I’m working with the MPC Renaissance and studio.. I still prefer standalone and glad it went back that way after the software based way.. it’s better to at least have the option of standalone again imho.. not hating anyways, I’m just old 🤣✌️
And another one. Who's next/ Goldie Loc? with the off/on sync beats. I have been seeing the Micro Korg (vocoder) for sale a lot since the gas prices went up. Just from using it on some of your projects how do you like it compared to VST synths?
I dare you to do how to make 2pac beats and G funk 2pac style like Daz. That would be a amazing video and title. Also if you do this, please show how you got the instruments to make it to! Ps: what Daw software you use to make beats like this?
for real, i am watching you from germany try to imitate the good ol days from the 80s/90s on my Reason DAW. Just bought myself a talkbox, and it is so hard a 4:29 nd nearly immpossible to master it…..but i try to. you got some vibes, nice……
This is good but it’s definitely not a Battlecat joint. OG has a completely unique FEEL. The influence is there. The harmony and layers sound good! They do! But it’s just not Cat. It’s a MAJOR difference, no disrespect. Cause this IS a decent emulation of him. 🙏🏾✨☯️☀️
this shows how insanely underrated battlecat is
that's why i had to do this vid

Dope! When making a beat like that do you have quantities off or you swing?
