some of the best beat tutorial content on youtube. finna gets straight to the point. he doesn't yap around and try to sell you some ''secret sauce'' tecnhique that everybody already knows.

we need an Alchemist Tutorial or a Cubeatz tutorial
for hi hats I like to do a simple 2 step pattern with no rolls, I fill the space up with lots of layered melodies and snares/percs, I’ll use rolls when the melody isn’t very “big” and there’s a lot of space to fill
Don't make your video's too simplistic tho, thats kind of the problem with most youtubers. Watching 10 min videos and learning nothing is frustrating

I want to play the patterns but after looking at video stats, it turns out most people stop watching whenever I play stuff, so I try not to do it as much.

I don't know who would watch a music production tutorial and skip the part where the producer shows how it sounds ... people are weird sometimes .. anyway the good thing about it , is we (or at least I ) had to open FL and type the patterns in the meantime .. which makes people learn better when doing the thing in the meantime instead of only doing passive watching .. thanks for your answer man and keep it up 🥶🔥

just turn up all the mixer tracks and put a soft clipper on the master. also if the mix sounds quiet, it might be because there is much more low end than high end, which makes it sound quieter overall so keep that in mind
