Nice to see BAR mentioned. Yes, it's stupidly good, and free on top of it. Kinda scared that can't get any better than that. But it is indeed one of the best RTS i've ever played and needs more attention.
8:50: Worth noting a 3rd faction (Legion) is in development, and can be played and enabled in lobbies. It is not fully completed yet, so shares some units with other factions (primarily Cortex), however it is entirely playable with at least 70% of it's roster being unique. While some players don't like including it in high level or 'serious' play due to minor balance issues, it's perfectly fine to include in custom games.
Cataclismo! After Moonlighter, we're making this medieval fortress builder RTS featuring brick-by-brick building mechanics. There's a free demo on Steam, too!
who cares if its not new anymore, if its constantly getting updates and growing playerbase ppl should know about it, rather then these meh upcoming rts games that will die after a month. the reason it looks decent and not amazing is because you can make 1000s of units, and not just you, its balanced around 8v8, also has 16v16 coop lobbies if you into that. in fact there is no cap and economy scales infinitely, the only cap is your cpu so lategame the entire screen is just hordes of units everywhere, supported by giant warmechs and defences of all sorts, while nukes going against anti nukes above your screen every now and then. and if 1 enemy slips in.....just 1, it can chain explode your entire economy. this game should definitely be mentioned all the time hahaha
One important mention is Homeworld 3! A demo for the roguelike War Games mode has just released and i cant wait to try it out for myself (its downloading as i type this out lol). Here's hoping it delivers!
Give it time. I was trying to rush in and you pretty much can't if you're used to 1 and 2. Also try to skip the UI and control modernizations first, they gave me a lot of headache. You're given choices at the start.
Wow Godswarn is VERY much visually similar to Lord of the Rings: War of the Ring, an RTS I feel like I'm the only person who played and loved growing up. Definitely looking into that more
Beyond all reason is one of the only RTS that satisfy my urge to put craters in anything i wish, with anything i wish, without overwhelming me with complicated controls and mechanics.
I have played Global Conflagration before but redownloading it again along with Tempest Rising. I am going to give Ratten Reich and Godsworn and 9 bit armies my first go. But i did download about 15 demos Pacific Drive and Star Trucker and i like the look of. Arctic Awakening i played it before. Under The Snow Viking Frontiers 9-Bit Armies: A Bit Too Far Ratten Reich Godsworn Soulmask Pacific Drive Winter Survival Star Trucker Dungeon Stalkers Global Conflagration i played it before Tempest Rising i played it before KinnikuNeko : SUPER MUSCLE CAT Outcast - A New Beginning Abathor Should keep me busy for a few days.
Great video here mate, BAR really caught my eye and I didn't know of some others. I like your vocal cadence and chill but not afraid to have a joke manner. Wish you all the best, Subbed!
I heard some mixed reviews on stormgate but I’ll still live to try it. I already tried out gates of pyre and enjoyed it and I’ve seen good reviews already. I recommend you make a video on it.
I find it funny that you played Desynced and said you would want to play more logistics games then PA's successor was announced as a hybrid RTS - Factory builder. Also, love the SupCom music in the background :)
Nice game selection, The new RTS game I cant wait to play is Gates of Pyre. The blend of strategic depth and fast-paced action brings a fresh feel to the RTS genre
Dune: Spice Wars is hands down the most fun RTS I've ever played. Each faction plays totally differently and the game has crazy depth to it with a load of different playstyles for everyone. All factions closely following the lore with lots of flavour. Love this game.
Not a RTS but broken Arrow really makes me want a new strike game (Desert strike, jungle strike, urban strike, nuclear strike them games) it’s nuts that them game never did badly but just stopped been made.
holy fuck i am insanely grateful to you about showing off Godsworn, it's based on Baltic mythology and let me tell you as a lithuanian that IMMEDIATELY made me and all my friends obsessed
Oh boy, I play Gosworn last time the demo was avaiable I loved it, gonna try it again to see what they improved. And I've been really looking towards global conflogation.. yeah that, I hope it can be the new cnc generals I wished we got.
Everytime Godsworn brings out a demo or beta release I always spend a few hours playing it I think I've already gotten my money's worth out the game. So it's a day 1 purchase for me already
Broken Arrow's similarity to Wargame is no coincidence -- It's made by players who were at the top of the Wargame Red Dragon leaderboards a few years back
I'm a simple man, i hear The Future Battlefield, i give like. On a serious note, thanks for this. Looking for to get back into RTS, and videos like this sure help.
Thank you! Beyond all reason is fun game with a lot of nukes at later stages. I played with my friend against AI. That was epic. We launched more than a hundred nukes.
Global Conflagration was good even if I got my butt kicked by the medium AI. It's very very fast paced and you have to be constantly moving units around capping points or you get left in the dust quickly.
Didnt know about a couple of these, thanks. I'll add them to the wishlist. Seems like a lot of good rts games coming out; Tempest, Dust etc. New golden age of rts ahead of us?
I haven't played any of them yet. But the year is shaping up to be a great one for RTS games. Although, most of them seem to be very MP focused, something I don't really have the time for anymore.
Some games I'm a bit upset wearn't mentioned are Against the Storm (maybe not classed as rts??) & Tempest rising!!! Tempest rising has a demo that everyone can play, and they want feedback from it. It's the most promising out of all the RTS in the video, and needs a serious boost in publicity given the company is going through some lay offs at the min.
supreme commander was so ahead of its time it shows now with a game like sanctuary , like its not even close im sorry. sometimes classics are really hard to surpass
Excellent video, thanks! Would you be able to tell us which of these RTS games have a strategic pause feature in which you can give orders while in pause mode. I consider this a very important feature for accessibility. Thank you!

Yo thank you so much for covering us! It's only two of us actively developing the game and yes wishlisting it on steam would help us immensely!
I still play generals. Definitely gonna give it a shot
This is the one I'm probably most excited for
Wasn't expecting much, I was pleasantly surprised. The game is fun.
I've had you wishlisted for a hot minute! You're definitely in my top list of RTS games I can't wait to try out
people who say yo are so cringe
Thank you so much for the mention Zade!!

Nice touch having a Starcraft track as background music for Stormgate, and Supreme Commander for BAR and Sanctuary
It's the little details that matter 🔥
Nice to see BAR mentioned. Yes, it's stupidly good, and free on top of it. Kinda scared that can't get any better than that. But it is indeed one of the best RTS i've ever played and needs more attention.

legion is very fun, there are many flamethrower and fire related units.
creating huge, devastating fires wherever I want, feels amazing.
Let me know any I missed! I just saw a surprise Homeworld 3 demo drop, which is great! Too bad it wasn't announced before I made the video 😅
Also Moduwar! sending you an email now :-)
Zerospace. Being made by SC2 pros and RUclipsrs. Campaign will be Co-op and take inspiration from Mass Effect.
I think you forgot Tempest rising they have demo as well and 9-pixel army demo!
Cataclismo! After Moonlighter, we're making this medieval fortress builder RTS featuring brick-by-brick building mechanics. There's a free demo on Steam, too!
Terminator dark fate?
BAR and Sactuary RTS need to be mentioned every time a conversation about RTS comes up.
Sanctuary isn’t even out? And BAR is decent but not like it’s so good it needs to be mentioned all the time lol
BAR is not new anymore. And already kinda released and available.

A giant snorefest with confusing camera controls. Such a disappointment after all those years after HW2.
World War Armies is another RTS participating in the Next Fest - we'd love for you to give it a go!
i played this one today actually, very fun COH clone! Katusha is epic!
I enjoyed it. can't wait for online pvp
Wow Godswarn is VERY much visually similar to Lord of the Rings: War of the Ring, an RTS I feel like I'm the only person who played and loved growing up. Definitely looking into that more
DUDE. It was one of my favs with Warcraft 3. I recently played a bit of the mods it has to immerse myself in nostalgia. No regrets there.
Beyond all reason is one of the only RTS that satisfy my urge to put craters in anything i wish, with anything i wish, without overwhelming me with complicated controls and mechanics.

Appreciate it :)
Tempest Rising, Zero Space, Dust Front, Godsworn and AOM retold! ❤
Godsworn looks interesting.
As soon as said Warcraft 3 I was there ❤.
Godsworn looks awesome! Thanks for bringing these to our attention!
I love these videos. Definitely going to check out Godsworn. You forget Tempest Rising too!
Tempest Rising doesn't have a Next Fest demo does it?
I heard some mixed reviews on stormgate but I’ll still live to try it. I already tried out gates of pyre and enjoyed it and I’ve seen good reviews already. I recommend you make a video on it.
I love feasts!
(And I recognized that World in Conflict music at the beginning)
I find it funny that you played Desynced and said you would want to play more logistics games then PA's successor was announced as a hybrid RTS - Factory builder.
Also, love the SupCom music in the background :)
Nice game selection, The new RTS game I cant wait to play is Gates of Pyre. The blend of strategic depth and fast-paced action brings a fresh feel to the RTS genre
Nice to see RTS is doing good in 2024!
Good? This is a barren list of shovelware to mid af games. lmao
More accurate to say BAR is spiritual successor to supreme commander. Has MUCH more in common with supcom than TA.
Bar is very much ta derived
In fact spring engine was made specifically to run ta in 3d
Dune: Spice Wars is hands down the most fun RTS I've ever played. Each faction plays totally differently and the game has crazy depth to it with a load of different playstyles for everyone. All factions closely following the lore with lots of flavour. Love this game.
I played Global Conflagration and it has so much Generals-Vibes. I love it. Need some fixing though. But I will definetly buy it in early access.
Not a RTS but broken Arrow really makes me want a new strike game (Desert strike, jungle strike, urban strike, nuclear strike them games) it’s nuts that them game never did badly but just stopped been made.
Oh God I just realized you turned every title into a jole lol!!!! That just made my day! Thank you!

Its ruzzians ☠️
Playing that SC2 music at 3:15 is such a spit in the face. I don't know whether that was intentional but bravo.
I'm mostly excited about Tempest Rising and DORF
since i am a huge command and conquer fan, i will definately play global conflagration. looks awesome
I'm a simple man, i hear The Future Battlefield, i give like.
On a serious note, thanks for this. Looking for to get back into RTS, and videos like this sure help.
Manor Lords, Homeworld 3, and Terminator are my most anticipated.
"Men and lords" oh god...
Fun fact, most of these you actually cant play RIGHT NOW. But nice list of things to WISHLIST NOW.
BAR was new to me. Ty. Big TA and Supreme Commander fan. Can't wait for Sanctuary.
Im waiting for a Battle for Middle-Earth 2 style RTS... I guess it will be on my tombstone eventually...
I still remember playing warzone 2100. What a great game
Hey brother! Loved the list! BAR looks awesome!
What was the song used during the Godsworn part? Sounded sublime!
Age of Mythology soundtrack to start is *chef’s kiss*
Wow I just put like 5 games on my wishlist :D
Pretty mich all of these look amazing, feels a lot like RTS is finally back on the menu! 😍
So excited for sanctuary and absolutely love BAR.
Thank you!
Beyond all reason is fun game with a lot of nukes at later stages. I played with my friend against AI. That was epic. We launched more than a hundred nukes.
This just show me that im more on point with RTSs than i thought, they're all on my wishlist!
I'm willing to bet that there is absolutely no tutorial for people who haven't played an RTS before lol
Beyond All Reason is awesome.. I'm a TA fan. And it's a super upgrade and very close to it. Especially the planes...
Thanks for the tips! I really appreciate these videos, I had never heard of any of these but I will sure to keep an eye on them
world in conflict is one of my favorite games of all time, i did try broken arrow but it just didnt give me the same feeling
I cant wait for broken arrow, i need this world in conflict memories
Added A LOT to my Steam wishlist after this video haha, thanks! 😎🤙
Don't forget Tempest rising, maybe the closest to a new Command & Conquer Game so far
Thanks for the heads up on these hidden gems
Thanks for the heads up :) Feel like i've been waiting for Broken Arrow forever.
I know right!
Warno is good too
And the Homeworld 3 Demo that just released their War Games mode :D
Global Conflagration was good even if I got my butt kicked by the medium AI. It's very very fast paced and you have to be constantly moving units around capping points or you get left in the dust quickly.
Godsworn looks very good and attractive
A good RTS is called 2089 Space Divided with multiplaer and cc vibes
OOh i i kinda forgot about godsworn def gonna check it out
I have find in this video some new games to wait for. Thanks for the recommendations!
Wow Godsworn looks a lot like battle realms. I'll be keeping an eye for this one first, I'll playing tempest rising first
Best RTS to play in 2024? Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2. Yuri's Revenge on Steam.
There ya go.
Sanctuary looks really good.
Your vids are always great. I'm mostly looking forward to the World in Conflict successor.
tyty
haha i love the starcraft music underneath...ode to the greatest RTS of all time... well done
Didnt know about a couple of these, thanks. I'll add them to the wishlist. Seems like a lot of good rts games coming out; Tempest, Dust etc. New golden age of rts ahead of us?
I really like the hybrid game called Silica. Has great potential but is currently missing a lot of quality of life features
I haven't played any of them yet. But the year is shaping up to be a great one for RTS games. Although, most of them seem to be very MP focused, something I don't really have the time for anymore.
Homeworld and tempest rising releasing this yesr will have a strong single player.
Downloading BAR now thank you for mentioning it.
I miss the days of Supreme Commander 2. Peak RTS
As much as I like the idea of Stormgate, it just can’t fill the void for me because it’s not the world of Starcraft, and I LOVE Zerg
Some games I'm a bit upset wearn't mentioned are Against the Storm (maybe not classed as rts??) & Tempest rising!!! Tempest rising has a demo that everyone can play, and they want feedback from it. BAR is awesome when you get the hang of it.
If it looks like Tom Clancys End War I’m def playing it 🙏🏾
supreme commander was so ahead of its time it shows now with a game like sanctuary , like its not even close im sorry. sometimes classics are really hard to surpass
Not gonna lie, I've ended up downloading most of these games now and its making me a bit more hopeful for the RTS future
Nice...also waiting for your SC stream.
Haha yeah sorry about that... We're on next week for sure!
Excellent video, thanks! Would you be able to tell us which of these RTS games have a strategic pause feature in which you can give orders while in pause mode. I consider this a very important feature for accessibility. Thank you!
Godsworn looks like Warcraft 3 if it plays similar i'm all iver it. As for Broken Arrow thats looks amazing can't wait for that ❤.
I’ve been craving a new World in Conflict for soooo long.
Alright, Zade... you finally me do it. I downloaded BAR.
LES GOOO
'Men and lords" LOL Great vid tho
thanks for the list i will test broken arrow and maby the first gaem.
I tried Stormgate but it kind of sucks, too much micro managing and no improvements from the past 20 years of RTS games
It's just a Starcraft overhaul, not necessary bad but relies on too much nostalgia
It's like 1/10th of the whole game. Give it some time.

"The Best New RTS Games to Play NOW in 2024"
Shows games you can't play NOW. Love it.
SC 2 - the best RTS to play since 2010. There were no game even close to it since that.
Rts are my fav genre of games I miss then so much its the only reasons Im buying a PC in 2024
The only thing BAR does that Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance doesn't is make itself available for free
People should try out the most polished and responsive RTS right now; Starcraft 2 :P
Why is Gates of Pyres not being mentioned in almost every Converse involving RTS despite having one of the best lores and graphics?
I got a feeling that Global Configuration is the same as a old game i got that the devs never finish.
wow never heard of bar but i’ll give it a shot!
excited for Steam Nixt Fist
More interested in ZeroSpace than StormGate tbh. Zero seems like it has more variety and interesting gameplay than storm from what I've seen.
