so a piece of advice for this beautifull fragrance for any one who goes "meh" when they first try it:
This thing has quality, rich ingredients in it and is not your typical "freshy", but rather more "woody"/casual vibe.
It is a bitter fragrance and therefore needs the heat in order to turn sweeter and stronger. DO NOT try this in the winter.
This is a pure summer fragrance and perhaps also warm spring days. That is where this one shines.
High quality fragrance, cheap to buy, no synthetic ingredients, not cough-inducing and also a unique DNA with its "woody" smell. Sadly not very versatile, but worth having.

I really liked the way neroli plays with the citrus. The opening was not so great for me but after 10-15 minutes it's beautiful. Very good for summer in the subcontinent.

Very nice citrus blast in the opening, fueled by the usual bergamot petit grain combo. Instead of neroli, it’s lemon and orange, but the effects is still the same. Very refreshing, sour, bitter green citrus fruits. The base is soft and woody with just a little of the bright green opening hanging on. Seems like a great summer scent. Perfect for casual but it’s also refined enough for some formal wear. Projection is good during the first couple hours then it settles down on the skin. That final phase lasts up until 4 to 5 hours. To me it’s a must have just for the mesmerizing smell of it alone. But I guess to each their own when it comes down to this fragrance.

Thanks friend Joy for posting this. Your descriptions really help to pant a picture to help me decide on this and other fragrances you review. Longevity is king for me as at this point I don't want to decant after an hour. So I appreciate that your reviews always cover longevity.

Got this for £39 as a tester with no lid. Really enjoying it The weather here in London is very hit and miss but I have loads on summer spring frags and this stands out as a characterful fragrance and a break away from the typical designer approach.

Hi Joy. This was the first video I watched of yours that introduced me to your channel. I have to say that your reviews are the best. After I saw Jeremy recommend this fragrance I started investigating, that’s when I saw your review. You convinced me to get this bottle. It’s gorgeous but weak. However if it’s sprayed on a shirt even after 2 or 3 days I occasionally get a whiff of peppercorns (I live in a cold climate). I’ve also just bought Artisan Blu, but didn’t open it yet. Keep up the good work

The scent to me is amazing but it doesn’t last long at all. Then again my sinuses may be acting up so I’ll try again later to test the longevity. But smell alone it’s 9/10 .

The stuff around the bottle is called “wicker”. They used to make outdoor furniture out of it here in the states back in the 80s. At least that’s exactly what it looks and feels like to me.

Thinking about trying this next summer. I like John Varvatos fragrances, still haven't tried Dark Rebel yet and have a feeling I will like that as well but this will be nice for next summer. They come in 2.5 bottles so they are cheaper in stores then 3.4 bottles.
