I did not hardwire the camera as I was not confident in doing so. I use the 12 Volt connector instead. It works great nonetheless.

hello, i installed the same camera in my car using the hardwire kit, but the ACC OFF blue screen that appears on your dash cam after switching off your car stays for a fraction of a second on my dash cam after i switch off my car. I chose 12hr time lapse in parking mode but i can't seem to find the time lapse videos in the memory card. please advise as i cannot figure out if the camera is even working when when parked.
I am having trouble getting the G sensor to trigger.. Also when in parking mode can you turn the camera back on? or only when it gets triggered?
Let me know how you like. I'm most curious about it's ability to zoom in and look at detail on post (in a video editor). Also if you feel that it is a true 4k. I have been looking for true 4k for a while.
So far so good… I am able to read license plates on post zoomed in during day and night time shots possible as far out as 25-30ft. I also feel that the resolution very detailed and could very well be true 4k.
My lighter port always has power gone to it. I just installed the cam and noticed its gonna recorded all the time will this kill my battery?
Yes it will drain the battery so best to unplug it manually when you turn off the car

Can you have the screen off on the camera but still record? I feel like I would be distracted with the screen on while driving.

What is the largest GB SD card it will take?
I’m not to sure I would have to look into it but I have a 64gb as card in it with no issues and plenty of footage stored on it
