I just bought this product the updated version with suction cup plus memory card included and it works great I use it when I’m on the road trucking. I believe they listened to the complaints and fixed a lot of issues
what complaints and issues? The F7N & F7NP are exactly the same main unit except the P comes with a 32gb sd card and an Inside rear camera where the F7N comes with no sd card and an outside rear camera.
@MrWestcliffe it just captures more frames so potentially you can get a screen grab of a license plate if needed. The F7N is not true "4K" anyways as the image sensor isn't large enough. They just blow up the resolution. That being said, it's a bit of personal preference. During my time with it, I didn't have any issues.
@@lepoldbuttersstotch thanks. So is it true if I go down to 1080p on the front cam it will do 60fps? I couldn't find any official info on the Redtiger site.
@@MrWestcliffe I don't remember if that's possible. I think the 60fps option gets disabled if you have the rear camera plugged in. Give it a try. I've changed cameras now to a 3 channel one. Good luck.
The secret of have the license plate numbers is just to keep the microphone on all the time and pronounce the license plate number and letters so that way you already have it recorded.
Hello, good afternoon, thank you for sharing, a question, why does my camera suddenly freeze when I record in 4K and why can't I see the videos on the computer if I remove the card? Finally, how do you upload your video to RUclips? It takes me a long time to even see them in the application on my cell phone? simple curiosities thank you very much
Is your SD card class 10? it looks like a C and will have a little number on the inside of it. Class 10 cards will have the highest bitrate so you’re able to record in higher resolution
It lock that file on the memory card and prevent it from auto deleting. Dashcam saves videos in multiple small clips. Space for new clip is made by deleting older clips.
The front camera isnt even capable of 1080p, its 2 options are 2k and 4k, its the rear camera thats only 1080p, and you can use both 2k and 4k options while recording with the rear camera
Just go one in 2024, it's far better, Back cam not like that one. It is also 360 rotation and can stay inside the vehicle. Problem with outdoors use is they always get covered in crap so no view.
I just got mine today on Amazon for 125. They had a 20 dollar of coupon. Frame rate really doesn't make any difference to me. It's not like I'm playing God Of War on a PS5, I just want it to capture footage if I'm ever in an accident it some other unfortunate situations.
I just installed mine, rear image looks cleaner/better than the front does when viewing on the app….front looks grainy…factory settings. Also, it won’t save any files to my iPad mini for some reason. Any ideas?
@Bob K had my x350 just crap out on me 1 day, I've got a second x350 that's older and still works but quality of the video seems to be grainy and hard to read plates. Going to switch to this
I’m getting ready to install mine, how does that clear piece attach to the windshield? I get how the camera attaches with the 3M pad, but don’t see what keeps the clear film from coming off
If I remember correctly you just peel off the sticker part and then it just sticks to the windshield using friction and surface area. There is no adhesive. Pretty cool how it works, just have to make sure your glass is clean
this camera is garbage. I have connected the wifi and it gives me about 30 seconds to find the video before it shuts off. This is my second redtiger because the first one stopped working out of nowhere. I got a replacement and now I can not retrieve the video. My wifi is good so i'm not sure the problem. Frustrated and can't get a return or help from customer service since I purchased this a year ago. Never needed to look at video today until when a teenager on a bike swerved in front of my car. Sad that I don't have this evidence.
So at the beginning of your setup, you show that it records at 2160p & 1080p. But then you are saying that it looks like true 4K. It’s NOT! You showed it can only do 2K when you are using both front and rear cameras. 😮oops

Nicely done. Thanks for pointing out the lower frame rate.
If you use 1440p+1080p, it will record at 30fps instead of 4K+1080p @ 24fps
...so how its better to use it with 4K@24fps? or 1440p at 30fps? Just purchased one now and wondering how to set it up. Cheers.

how do I get the rear camera to show on the front camera screen?
Might need one of those lens which reduce glare. The polarizing kind.

Can I use my own usb charger for the camera instead of the traditional 12v charger???
Sure, why not
How about if the car is parked and turned off??? Will it still record???
Only if you wire in the hardwire kit. Otherwise, no. It does not have a battery, only a capacitor.

Has anyone done 1080p on this camera to maybe get better frames. That frame rate is pretty bad

Can you see inside the cabin
I guess if you turn the camera around

Just an FYI. I’ve seen videos from this camera that look flawless. I think it’s only 24 FPS at 4K, but 120 fps at 1080p.
60 fps in 2K resolution 👍🏻✨️
