I always admire content like this, not just harkening back to the older times of youtube, but generally when individuals get together to create something that they have fun doing while exhibiting a deep appreciation of the source materal, regardless of how others may perceive it. I'm always a fan of seeing stuff like this.

Guys... this was actually really really accurate down to the awkward pauses in-between dialogue and the pronunciation of the words. "I thought that thing killed you.. are you hurt Baahhd" lol on point. also that Angela scene. both when she is laying down with the knife in her hand and the staircase scene "its always like this for me" so beautifully done!
You achieved with little and you got a lot, I congratulate you what a great job, all the essence of silent hill in this video and more that the premiere of the remake is approaching. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The remake about to go crazy idc what anyone says but I agree. I mean tbf they have to change up the awkward pacing of the dialogue but that surreal feel is what gave that game its identity in the first place. like when she says "Im not your Mary" in the old game and in this video she sounded upset and offended to be mistaken for Mary. but in the remake she just sounds like she is reminding him. also they show her eyes to much in the remake because of the lighting. part of what made that scene LW creepy was that you couldnt tell if Maria was upset, lying, playing, happy or what.. in all. I agree but we gotta give the remake credit where credit is due. not everything can be word for word and pixel by pixel
@@SlyHogan there are way more issues than the atrocious VAs performance, agonizingly shitty cutscenes direction, and awful copy & paste of silent hill homecoming's gameplay.
the game is a complete reboot, and disgusting disrespect to the source material

Whilst i could do with the outside scenes being a bit less colourful and saturated, some of the shots in this are just...wow. The mirror shot with Angela is just fantastic. I'd watch a full version!

The prison and videotape scenes was splendid. The acting, especially Maria's was wonderful; it was faithful to the original, but not so over the top, which made it look real and believable. Oh, and the outfits were really well made.

This is a such a cool homage to the original Silent Hill 2! ❤ Love how the voice direction has the same awkward, dream-like quality! The editing tricks were so clever and recreated the original quite accurately!
Also, the costumes were top-notch! Excellent work, ya'll!
Cannot believe this is independently done. Some of the shots were pretty much 1 to 1. Pyramid Head and the nurse costumes were amazing.
