Donnell is really smart and logical when navigating race with someone like Theo growing up where he did. I know what's up cause I'm his age and grew up like 30 minutes from where he's from. Donnell knew to probe his awareness of it and how much he has come to term with by now. Cause it's almost 100% that a poor white kid from Louisiana was exposed to plenty of racism and has their own stereotypes they've picked up from their environment. It's not hate it's ignorance for the most part. There are plenty that let that ignorance lead to hate, but usually it's not understanding how to he sensitive to certain topics.

I always thought it would be cool if there were places people of different races and views of other races can go and and just have conversations like this. Like a town hall setting but more like a club too. People of all races sitting around and asking each other questions about race and each other's cultures. Have a place like that in every city. I picture it being something like this but constant. I think that could go a long way in race relations.
