For the bedroom you could make the whole second floor a sort of bedroom suite! I lived in an apartment like that and you could for sure make it feel luxe. Like bed on one side, dresser/armoire on another side, etc.

I love that he always gives out resident keys because he "likes them to come visit". But whenever people do just walk into the sims house, he complains and tells them to go away😂

Hey!! I think the entire second story should be the bedroom, just more open. One square for the bed, one for an amazing closet, one for a bathroom (close this off with a straight wall or curtains, so there's a hallway), and the last square for a Zen zone with books, a place to sit, a small water feature. Nothing's more Luxe than an entire floor for one person!
Edit to add: Oh!! I just had a thought, maybe try some purple up-lights on the outside?? That might be worth experimenting with since the game lacks purple outdoor accents! Ohh I'm so inspired by this build

The Renrut children were raised by a crystal and some didn't have proper bedrooms until the end. It makes sense they are building palaces in Tiny Town when out on their own. 😂

Gold is such a great accent color for purple! You should definitely add more. And i think Get Famous has a white marble with gold streaks in it that could help add in the Luxe feel
For the yoga mats left on the ground - There is an option to "Return Yogamat" which removes them.

Pablo's life is gonna be rough . I think the most he can make a day is around 1250, cuz he can only do one competition a day and about 2 community jobs? Investing in other horses is so difficult because training a horse takes forever, even with max horse riding skill. So for poor Pablo, I suggest incorporating either the nectar making or the large crops that came with cottage living to make his life a bit easier.

hm, i wonder if the Gym Rat trait would have solved Camilo's hygiene woes. ah, well. i also kinda liked the blue swatch of the little tower... toppers. i was also screaming at James to try the realm of magic doors cuz they come with purple stained glass lol, but idk if they would have even looked good with what he was going for. i really liked how the build actually turned out lol, it's so maximalist XD

For the second level instead of walling off the bedroom, maybe separate it with curtains. It’ll make the space feel more open, and add more of the middle eastern palace feel.

all the traveling due to weather is making me realize why is there not a way to check weather in other towns? like obv we can see the one we're currently in with the calendar, but we really should be able to check a weather report for any of them through your phone/computer/tv!

Ooooh! You know what would look good with Camilo's purple palace? The stained glass windows from Realm of Magic! I'm not 100% sure, but I think they have some sweet purple swatches. Just imagine the big round windows behind those arches. That'd be sweet. 😍
camilo's palace is such a fun build! all the unique designs is really bringing me back to the every occult challenge and the super creative builds. i can't wait to see what you come up with when we eventually get to sonny's island

For Scarlet, considering she’s green and cute and gardening, I’m definitely picturing a cute little green cottage with a huge garden, with loads of bushes, chars and tables and with a greenhouse of course.
You can maybe set all the outdoor space as a shared space, to lower bills. Also if Krystoff maxes out his Wellness skill you can complete Camillo's aspiration
My favorite is when I get an hour + video from James on my day off. (It's even better when the morning coffee hits just right) Your content just makes me so happy :)
Not sure if anybody has mentioned this yet, but I'm dealing with the rental lot roofing bug as well and I didn't wanna take out all my stairs lol so another work-around is to just add in the roofs from manage worlds -- you don't end up stealing any money this way since roofs are free regardless.

OMG! That house from the Sims 3 looks like the Taj Mahal! That would be wild. If you want to go in the mystical direction when you build, why not use Realm of Magic. They have a lot of purple in the windows, plus there is a white door in a tree pattern that is white, you could also use the For Rent wall decoration which is an elephant. If I can make a suggestion, why not bring the bedroom downstairs and the second floor make it the yoga studio. You can access all those balconies through arches, and you don't need something above the balcony to roof it. Check out Katie Emerald's tutorial on roofing. She can even roof over half walls.

It would look cool if whole 2nd floor was his bedroom instead of that tiny room. He could have a room with a toilet & sink then an open tub on a platform surrounded by plants & candles. Maybe have a few sheer curtains around the tub. Island Living curtain comes to mind. It comes in purple. ~Pure Luxury~

Headcanon: Camilo was always jealous of Krystoff growing up. He was the oldest, got his own apartment, and was always busy painting. Camilo actually got into wellness to help calm his feelings. But when his opportunity came to finally outdo his eldest brother, including hustling him at times, he built a freaking luxurious palace!
Yes!! Also some things James' says are just showing how they fight. I also think Krystoff is the kind of brother that just goes to help his brother because he loves them all 🤗 while Camilo it's like "YES GIVE ME YOUR MONEY! I'M BETTER THAN YOU!" 😂

I think in dine out there’s these ornate glowing wall strips, they would border the purple part on the outside of the building so well.
Maybe pushing the diagonal walls on the second floor that go out to the balconies by a tile would help with the indoor space? Like make the triangles of the balconies a little smaller?

Idea for Scarlett! A Tiny town community garden? Something small at first then eventually become a nice greenhouse filled with food, herbs, & other useful plants like death flowers.
Every sim could contribute to the garden in some way. May it be providing seeds, fertilizer, adding planters, or other build items. Scarlett would be the one managing the garden. She could even run a plant stand!

I love all the houses being unique and different sizes! The palace is crazy but in the best way. It makes it way more fun not restricting yourself by how many floor tiles you can use.

I think I'd move the stairs into one of the four alcoves just to free up the central part of the house and be able to make all the rooms look more spacious and luxe
The tile fits the build perfectly. The blue swatch of the roof pieces would go well with the fence you settled with 💙💜

For island, an underwater home! Using the pool tool. The home on the center below the beach "island" surrounded by the "ocean".
for the stairs, you could put them in one of the rectangular pieces, that way you can utilize more of the upstairs and have a more open floor plan downstairs (it might stick out a bit downstairs but i feel like it would be worth it for a bigger upstairs)

I think teaching meditation is easier, the stools are smaller so the sims have an easier time placing them to join
Might be just me but I feel like white walls with the downstairs furniture style is super luxe and wellness vibe and compliments the purple tile way better - at the moment, it's giving me witchy castle vibe with the purple walls
I think the house can be more open concept since many of these palaces use the windows & tall towers for cooling down spaces. Put some day beds and other relaxing stuff around. And use curtains to break up spaces.

A lot of Indian architecture *is* Islamic architecture. India has a very long and diverse history. Your inspo lot from sims 3 made me think of the Taj Mahal first thing. So, still pretty Indian I would say - as an Indian person

Maybe you can do a loft to have more space for the bedroom !
For his house. Lop off the back three sides of the bottom octagon.
Then make the rectangle it creates bigger. and push the whole thing to the back of the lot.
Should look the same from the front but give you a better interior layout.
Also pushing it to the back can give you more room for plants, fountains, and statues.
Could you imagine living in a tent, your brother invites you out to yoga then charges you $300, you wake up in the morning and he lives in a purple palace?!
