Today i cried. I cried to this song because it cuts me deep. I have been having a up hill battle with my depression and anxiety and these songs are my life blood. Thank you. Because ever since i was young i was told not to cry because it wasn't a thing a man did. I struggled to open up about my problems. I been bullied but i couldn't tell anyone. I felt like if i did i would have been looked down to. But these songs help me open up and im now in therapy. I still struggle but im trying and i wont give up with out a good fight. I feel found.

My father never let cry or he would abuse me and say there now you have a reason to cry. After the memories that I try to store away, I barely cry ever. I cried other day after like a yr without crying.
I've always struggled with anxiety, depression, and stress. I found you guys one day and it was exactly what I needed ("If these scars could speak"). I feel like whenever I listen to a song by you guys, it just helps me vent... it helps me release all the tension, and it gives clarity to the unemotional feelings I'm experiencing. In short, I bought every song. You all are, by far, one of the best bands I have discovered. Not just musically, but the way you guys are looking out for everyone and being proactive about this world's issues, and I find that remarkable, and unique. I can't wait for what comes out next.

I just lost my son to suicide. He was just about to turn 23 when we found him on Christmas eve in his car in an desolate area by himself. I would often share your songs with him as I knew he was suffering. If your suffering, please reach out to find help. The burdens you feel can be overcome. Your family loves you more then you know. I miss you Nick. Forever.

My friend introduced me to you Citizen Soldier. She made me listen to Would Anyone Care and Weight Of The World, those were the first songs I heard from you. It really felt like nobody cared. in this life you will born to do something, god created us all to do a job on this earth and just like i said he created us with something special deep inside of you

This is the kind of music I'd send to my mom. Her mental struggles prevented her from raising my sister and I, which took further toll on her in turn. She struggles day in and day out with crippling anxiety and depression, but through music I hope to give her an outlet for those tears locked up inside her. And for that I have to thank you for the beautiful messages in your music. This is exactly the kind of thing I want to tell her, but this does it so much better

I lived 50+ years consumed by pain and hurt, but there was a purpose for it as with everything we suffer through. God took my mess and turned it into a message, my trauma into a testimony, and my scars into a story that needed to be told. If I wouldn't have endured this very long suffering, how could I ever be able to effectively help victims of child sex-trafficking or those with depression, suicidal ideologies, loss, hurt, pain, abuse and abandonment? I could have never genuinely been able to tell those going through the same thing that I know what their going through and mean it. It's hard to help anyone if you haven't been there and that is the purpose of your pain. If I can save one life, then to me, it was worth it and I'd do it all over again if I had to.

Imagine trying to be happy all the time that would be exhausting
"Sometimes it feels like there's not point at all. In breathing, living, fighting." I send that to my friend yesterday. For years and even all my entire life I had to fight with mental illness and massive want to just give up all the world. Yet, I still here. Can't say I never tried to change that fact, but never succeed. Slowly realizing it is maybe a good thing. Living is hard and sometimes it feels like it does not even deserve all the efforts. That feeling of hopelessness and loneliness keep running in the head and heart. But that song speaks to me. I can't even say how much this is beautiful to write a song for your fans that struggling and explained to you what they go through. This is beyond words. And I'm so glad RUclips recommended me Weight of the world so I discovered this amazing band.

I feel like I've always lived my life like a catastrophe is about to happen any moment. Can't remember when I wasn't afraid, if I ever felt safe. I thought that, when I become an adult and am independent, things will get better for sure but somehow I just keep experiencing the same things from childhood. Recently found out that I have CPTSD and at least now I can name what I'm going through, but it's been really rough lately and I feel like life will never be okay. I want to experience things like everyone else and be happy, but I feel like I'm messed up beyond repair. I don't know how to be okay.
But when I'm at my absolute worst, I go to your songs, because they remind me that I'm not alone and it truly feels like someone out there understands and cares. And like maybe things can still be okay someday. Can't express enough how grateful I am for your music.

I found you, this song when I felt like I was at my lowest. I was going in a spiraling downhill with my depression. I wasn’t eating. My girlfriend at the time left me. I was heartbroken. And with everything I’ve been going through in my life... I felt completely numb. I felt like I had no one beside me. I had so many thoughts going through my head I became mentally numb. I was giving up on myself. But then I listened to this song. It took a couple times listening to it for me too completely realize that there is purpose in my pain. Right after listening to this I finally reached out. I thank those who I reached out too about what I’m going through. Because they made it surely known that they are on my side. That the pain I was going through may not pass but it will make me stronger than I have been in the past. I love you Citizen Soldier!! You do not understand how much I appreciate your music and how this song has saved my life. ❤️

Thank you for your songs... You saved me a lot of times, and I'm so glad I found you. I'll never forget with what song I started listening to you: Let it Burn, I clicked it before I was going to make my worse mistake just to cry for last time and for have some company, even if it was just a music video. When I started listening to it, I remembered two of my best friends who sadly did what I was going to do, and I remembered that, in their note, told me to never give up, that they'll be watching me and they'll never leave me. That song, remained me of the promise I made with them, and I'm thankfull you remained it as well. Thank You for your songs, thank you, because you don't know how they help in the bad days. Man, I can listen to this and “Let it Burn” and “Not alone” by Red. “Life Starts Now” Three Days Grace. Even when I feel like giving up hope and that darkness takes over me. Gives me hope to keep going no matter what. No matter what hell comes our way-you don’t know the sun will shine. Or if you’re alone in the dark-can’t find your way. Maybe you’re not-you know what they say. There could be a light in the end of a tunnel.

This song must be a blessing from the savior himself. Having suffered a broken leg back on the 21st of January which has put me out of work until the end of march. Ive been hammered down by verbal and emotional abuse from someone in the place im supposed to call home. Ive spent nights bawling and weeping, wishing to be struck down and killed off. You guys are a blessing to so many, now including myself. Thank you
I'm curious, you guys seem really well connected to mental health and to fully understand how is a person feeling and their way of thinking when they're going through a tough time, does this understanding come from your own experiences? Anywho this one is my favorite, "there is purpose in your pain" means so much to me, I've endured way more pain than I have happiness in my 23 years but you guys really make ready to face more pain, instead of giving into it and ending it all, because you make me know it will be worth it if I fight through it, but it won't be if I don't. Craig l everything u have gone the pain and everything is preparing u for something trust i never knew real pain until 4 years i was brought to my knees lost everything but. Thrue it all a strength arose thats prepared me to not just survive. But conquered my demons now i believe they isnothing i cant do im not afraid to rise higher than i was before the pain will make u stronger opens up your mind to things u never u could do embrace it and rise. Okay so i always heard the lyrics as "Like a candle in the light" and now as i realized it's actually night not light it makes more sense but i always understood it as the candle is in the light so it's useless but it's fighting only to be alive and it doesn't haven any other reasons to stay lit and I feel like it also is a pretty good metaphor

Man, do I wish I could gather all the people in the world who suffer from depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, or anything else like that and just sing this to them. To tell them that they're really not alone in what they're going through, and that it can get better.
