This song resonates with me so much. I was abandoned by my friends a long time ago and I still haven't gotten over it. I dont think I'll ever forgive or forget what they did to me. Thank you for being able to portray my feelings despite not even knowing my story.

Yeah, I'm still bitter. My dad moved out when I was 6 and faded from my life almost entirely by the end of middle school. I loved him, but he doesn't deserve that love. Yet I still can't get over it.

I have a lot of "favorite" rock and alt-rock bands, but they all eventually put out songs, where I go 'eh, not feeling it so much." Not so with these guys. I haven't heard a single bad song from Citizen Soldier yet. I only wish there were more songs to love. Can't wait for their next full-length album. Their signature sound, the raw and passionate vocals mingled with often deep and heavy but very relatable lyrics never fail to elicit my emotions. I can't get enough of this band. Rather, I haven't heard enough yet. I need more of these guys. If MP3s could get worn out like the old records and CD discs, my Citizen Soldier MP3s would be showing signs of serious wear by now. More awesome songs, please.
