- I worked on this cover for a really long time (way too long, I think it took me over a year at least), and after learning how to mix and master using this song, I think I'm finally satisfied with what I made.

@@Tintaaa makes me think that yahrims theme (WHEN HE COMES OUT) will be a mix of Yharons theme and calamitas theme with the more active singing from yharon and the more organized singing from scal theme.
@@Tintaaa while the actual lyrics from the original song are "one's action's still linger in the sky, this message remains to get through to you" i like to think it's "one's ashes still linger in the sky, his messages remains to get through to you" because it fits so well. kinda sad that yharon's immortal in the lore since it takes the impact away from his death, but eh.

I feel like the choir in the og makes it hard to discern the lyrics, being able to fully understand the whole entire song really puts into perspective how good the lyrics truly are. Great cover
To be fair, it isn't always easy to understand choirs.
def part of that is that the Choir is a Vocaloid setup, so it's not actually speech, just VERY close to it

The last section in the song after the miku part in epiphany I would've ADORED if both you and the vocaloid sang for the rest of the song I think it would've been so good to have that duet

I've absolutely adored Stained brutal calamity since i've heard it for the first time, and searched for some covers from time to time. There were some covers, but yours is LEGENDARY, it's like listening to the new song, but it's still the Stained Brutal Calamity.
Usage of vocaloids (?) is kinda goofy imo but the cover is too good for me to care about that

All i needed to see was the thumbnail and you allready got me
I really disliked some covers of Stained, Brutal Calamity due to them being just far from the original, which is of course pure perfection. The problem is mostly the vocals - in the original you get a full choir, in covers there's a guy trying to sing like one, which isn't really great.
This is the best attempt I've seen to replicate the song with real life instruments and without a full orchestra + choir. And you've got me to actually quite like the song.
I am honestly impressed. One note though, I am interested with the voice change in the Lament part, because it is quite the opposite of the original (it was choir into solo male singer, here we have solo male singer into a voice changer for high pitch voice, if that's the correct English word for that). But... again, to my surprise... I quite liked it.
Considering your capabilities (without many instruments, one person), I'd give it a solid 8/10, a like, and if you keep going with Calamity covers, I will subscribe.

Sorry if I am a little to blunt, but as a die hard fan of the gregorian chanting, at least for me, it's missing the charm that SCAL has. Yet overall, pretty good cover, I really liked the Tyrant section, in fact, I think it deserves it's own video, keep up the work lad!
The plan was to give it a more orchestral rock/metal vibe with the same type of vocals those genres usually have haha
