Now this is certainly something special! You genuinely managed to improve on the original, primarily by adding a lot of your own flair, especially around the Lament movement (the bit at 4:45 is fantastic, and genuinely surprising).
Which leads me to the (hopefully more interesting) reason I'm commenting.
If you're still at all interested in Calamity, I wanted to extend a collaboration offer on by far my most ambitious project yet. I think your skill could REALLY add something special to the song.
I spent about a month or two on the lyrical writing alone, and it needs a vocalist now that the first draft is complete.
Despite there being bigger cover artists and such, you by far are one of the best vocalists I've seen do covers of this soundtrack.
Obviously no pressure, but I was wondering (if you're interested in this) what your preferred means of private contact is so I can go into MUCH greater detail (it's a very private project at the moment).
Only thing I can say here is that the song is planned to be done in around a month or so, so you can take your time if you decide to help out.
Either way, even if you're not interested whatsoever, this is a fantastic cover! And looking at your newest videos, you've clearly improved a lot since you posted this.
