I think they are gorgeous but as with most flowers I really could get carried away 🤣🤣 hence the lily forest. It has been low 30’s for a few days but we may drop a bit next week. Glad your plants are recovering they are pretty good at taking care of themselves. Have an amazing weekend Heidi and thank you for your ongoing support 🥰
“I’m not an old tool; I meant tools to buy.” 🤣🤣🤣 Auntie Ali, I adore you! 🥰🌱❤️ Ugh, slugs. Didn’t catch any large ones, but found many tiny, baby ones leaving lil holes allover my pak choy. 😐 Luckily, it was minor damage. Lupine!!! I still forgot to start seeds for them. Gah. I’m going to attempt to grow some hanging flower baskets. We’ll see. 😂 Huggles & take care! ❤
🤭🤭 I’ve always related more to Charlie Chaplin than Charles Dowding and that’s ok with me. Slugs are very odd this year I’m seeing a few big ones but those few are doing immense amounts of damage 😢. I would try them in baskets what have you got to lose it still early. Hugs and prayers for you and the family Sox, happy gardening 🥰🥰
Hi Ali uk also love geese especially the Canadian ones. They are on there way to come and see us. Have a great week and look after Gerald. As you don't look that busy. Much love oh and stop saying emmmmm😂
It’s nice to know we as humans can still stop for a baby gosling and take time to smile at the antics crossing a street. Ha ha sitting back doing nought oh wait no that was last week 🤣🤣. Have a marvellous weekend and I will buy him an ice cream 🍦 to cheer him up after I hand him his list of jobs 🤦🏼♀️
Hey Ali. I just love your description of things, ( asparagus.. a stick..🤣😂🤣) . I have a really old garden fork and Spade which is made specially for ladies 😂🤣😂🤣 unfortunately it's full of woodworm and the handles are moulded 😔 I'm so glad you saw the spider chain and didn't walk into it..☺️ Ali, you always have something like to comment on, wether serious or funny🤪 Me too, shorts and t-shirt weather.. yayyyyyy...🐮🐮🐮
Glad you enjoy the videos like you Manda I just like entertaining people, life’s too short and depressing sometimes and a good giggle in the garden does wonders. Hope you have an amazing week ahead and shorts for the win 💪💪
Thanks GG the slugs have arrived and they think so too 🤭 what’s a gardener to do 🤷♀️. It’s pouring today so I am afraid to go out and look 😜. Have a super day I hope it’s warmed up now for you 🙏
Yikes 31c we even left the bedroom window open all night it stayed that warm. Good thing I have so many spares 🤭🤭 to trade out vut I think I’ll wait until they are a bit bigger frost. Happy growing Clare 👩🌾🌞
Hi Ali I am with you on old tools. They don't make them as they used to. Hope your back recovers for some more garden action. I have sowed some of the tomatoes you sent me. They are doing really well. Best wishes Malgosia and Nigel
Ahh so lovely to hear from you 🥰. Gerald has tools that belonged to his dad and they still work great, he hones them and sharpens as needed and they just keep going 💪. Oh good about the tomatoes 🍅. I’ll text you 🥰 have a fab weekend
😂😂 so easily distracted, love it. Your garden looks amazing I love all your architecture in your garden. Glad to see the potty mouth is slowly returning 😂
Oh ahh look at that 🤣🤣 it’s so easy to do. It is all kicking off now I have shelves and tables and stands all covered in umbrellas and shaded🤦🏼♀️ looks like a body garden centre. But hopefully if it cools a wee bit I can get some beans out in the ground and lessen the load on the shuffling. Potty mouth at the frickin ready with all these slugs attacking 😡😡
Oh lord Paula it’s been so hot and barely any rain I thought they would do well. But the slugs are starving apparently because for the first time I can remember they are decimating my tomato plants 🤦🏼♀️. Good thing I have spares 👍.
Lovely garden tour Ali. You always make Tony and me chuckle. I have one solitary asparagus seedling currently being pampered. I'm staggered at how dry the ground is here after all the rain. I like to leave comments so people know that they are valued. Have a great week. Xx
If I can make Tony giggle my work is done 🥰. It I’m like you if feel if I follow and watch I,have to comment so people know how much I love their content. So many people are getting upset that they don’t think people like what they are posting or someone puts a snide comment on a they want to give up 😢. We keep being told we will get rain and it doesn’t come. So many areas of Alberta and Manitoba are on evacuation orders because of rampant wildfires already, all we can do is pray for these people 😢
Crikey that's scary. Wildfire is a dangerous and unpredictable thing. I'm currently bashing red lily beetles to a pulp. They've taken a liking to my snakeshead fritillary 😢
Ah thank you it is looking a bit insane at the moment with seedlings all over getting some sun 🌞. But I’ll be able to put out more once it cools just a wee bit. Have an amazing weekend guys and happy gardening 🧑🌾
All looking good Ali. Those peas are amazing, I’m very jealous. Hopefully the tomatoes will pick up. This weather is crazy, can’t believe you’re having to give the plants some shade. It’ll be raining again soon lol
See and I thought the peas were lacking this year. But I think I grew way more last year too 🤷♀️. Luckily I have spares on the tomato front. Yes it finally cooled down to mid 20’s today and so far no rain in sight. Rather scary actually that we didn’t have much rain in April either. But for now it’s more about protecting the seedlings from scorching. Enjoy the shed 👍👍
Ali I’m having problems for the first time with slugs this year 😮I put out my 6 sprouts and they’ve chomped 2 of them completely. I love the turning label idea great tip. Have a great weekend and mind the back😊👍
I had my sprouts mullered first so I bought starters put them in the ground then panicked 🙀 and took them out and put in pots. But I found a huge slug walking up my carrot pot so I don’t know what the answer is 🤦🏼♀️. Got tired of labels with lettering so faded 🤭 but this seems to work. Have an awesome weekend Mal happy gardening 🧑🌾
Hi Ali, I like the container garden area idea and if you slab it all then see if Gerald can make some caster plant stands so that you move everything around. Also it will give you more flexibility with some of the plants you are shading in the yard could go in there. I love old tools, I think they are better quality and if you find some they usually have been well looked after.
Awesome idea about the casters makes me want slabs even more 😝. His winter honey do list 👍. Last year it was crazy moving shade and pots across the other side of the garden p, then it gets cold so they have to moved back again. Hmm 🤔 a train track with plant stands 😁😁. I was just telling Nick most are forged tools and you don’t find them anymore unless you buy old, Gerald has shovels that are 50 years old 😁. Have an awesome weekend Ady 🧑🌾

Hi Ali. Nice to see the sun, albeit you’re cooking a bit. It’s a cracking day here and was yesterday too. 21c. 😊. Remember I’m in Scotland so these temps are always well received as they don’t last. 😳. You really are very good at supporting other channels. I’m amazed as any time I find a channel, you are already there 😆. My peonies are up but no sign of flowers yet. I wonder if I planted them too deep? It’s not like me as I often do the opposite 🙄. Anyway, that’s my breakfast coffee done so I’m off out into the garden to transplant, repot, and do all the great stuff needed in May - oh, and continue building my new quail run !!! Happy gardening. Mags
It has been an amazing few days and we even had the bedroom window open last night as it was hot 😲. I always appreciate support I get so it’s important to pass that encouragement on I think. Too many negative people out there 😢. Funny my peonies normally have ants (jinxed myself now) but there are no ants this year. Oh can you lift them a wee bit or will you just wait a bit longer? I planted mine years (eons) ago way too deep not knowing and just thought the plant was a dud. A lady at world told me about the deep thing and the 4 gorgeous peonies I have now are splits from that original one. Look forward to seeing the new quail run Mags, have an awesome weekend 👍👍
Oh fabulous Shawn now we can start complaining about the heat 🥵, as we do. Look forward to seeing your updates once the beds are filled with amazing veg, happy gardening 👩🌾
It poured rain for 2 days so luckily it all got watered but it also brought out all the slugs. I’m just growing flowers next year 😜😜 I’m tired of slugs eating everything. Yes the peonies should looks beautiful I put some by the window in the tv room too.
Hi dearest Ali such an enjoyable walk round I got val a pink blueberry the weekend and a couple of peonys to put with my roses got to have a couple on plot 1 😊
Oh fab I hope it does well. The peonies in the ground are doing awesome I just need to find a spot for the other 2 🤦🏼♀️. I hope you are both well and keeping that humour that we all love so much about you both. Have a simply awesome day and let Val know I have been waiting for spider face plants already 🤣.
I have some asparagus seed but I have now decided I'm going to get some crown's that way I can probably have some asparagus next year, I hope you have a lovely weekend 😊
I have seeded ones and crowns but yes if they aren’t too expensive crowns are the way to go. Here every once in a while they go on sale so I’ll buy a few replacements 👍. Have an awesome weekend Tony and of course Teddy 👍
The elusive Gerald hates being in camera and never actually talks if I’m filming 😝😝. He tends to think it’s all crazy how we do this videoing thing all over the world. He never even watches my videos 😲, how rude. But I’ll try sneaking him in one or two this year. Happy gardening and have a super weekend Eleanor 🧑🌾👍
Laughter is the best medicine Rich so the doctors in the house 🤣. Hope the rains hold off for you to get some much deserved allotment fun. We are on the other end praying for rain again but Mother Nature and the good lord make the rules though so I guess we just have to wait. Happy sowing 👩🌾
Hi Ali. I like the size of your peonies. Mine is a single. I see you have bee hotels too. Wow, it's warm there and you're right, it's silly season for planting out laugh.. it's a woman's/gardener's perogative to change her mind lol. Lots of sun shade for your plants. Looks colourful.. Asparagus takes a long time so I wouldn't disturb it. It's all good in the garden but you do have such a large bit of land. The trees sound lovely. My neighbour had a palm tree which made a lovely sound in the wind. That rat was determined, especially getting into the compost bin. Stay in the shade Ali and keep hydrated. 😎⛱️ Elaine 🌱🌱
Hi Elaine I hope your well and getting more things out each day. I just took 3 huge boxes of seedlings to my daughters for her sis in law. Makes a lot less watering 🤭🤭. Peonies are gorgeous and hopefully last a while. It has cooled down a bit today only 23c which makes working outside a lot easier. I change my mi d regularly on,y problem is it’s usually the middle of the night 🤣🤣 then I’m awake for, hours with plans in my head. Have a fabulous week ahead I hope it stays warm (ish) it not too warm right 🥰🥰
Everything is looking great! That is one tall, pretty tulip! Ugh shoveling is so difficult. We still have a bunch of woodchip in a pile we need to move from the front yard here but I think I'm just gonna spread it out where it is and forget about it 😅
Isn’t it tall I was shocked and it’s doing so well 🌷. I still have that pile sitting there while I decide what to do with it, change of plans again of course. At least all your snow is gone so spreading it out won’t be so bad. Have an awesome weekend Bell 🧑🌾
It’s a better option than last year 🤣🤣 I had tables on shade side of the yard and then on the sunny side 🤦🏼♀️ I was carrying pots back and forth it was exhausting. Jason at allotment of the dead says someone did a study by putting dob of paint on snails and taking them far away but they all came back 😱😱😱. So back to bathing it is I think 🛁.
So much sun and amazing growth! I love your location. How lovely to have hummingbirds. And stopping for geese. We do similar here in Wales thankfully. 😊 I had to water my garden the other day. But we have a week of rain coming from tomorrow. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
It's so good to see you have sunshine 🌞 ☀️, may it last. We've been having temperatures in the 70 Fahrenheit range this week. But rain is forecast, well at least I won't have to water. The garden is looking so good. Take care. Colin 🇬🇧 UK
Where I used to work in the city our building was at a huge intersection and traffic came to a stand still even in rush hour for geese babies. Nice to know the world still has a bit of compassion for something. It was 31c yesterday 🥵🥵 but no true rain for a week or more. I have to sort hoses for the bean arch as I took the old one up last winter 🙈 more work. Have an awesome weekend guys and happy gardening 🧑🌾
We are not Sue any significant rain until maybe late May but as always that could change. It’s same every year 😝 we whine about the cold and then we whine when it gets hot, never happy but happy 😊. Have an awesome weekend Colin and Beau 🧑🌾
I'm also finding it hard to keep up with all the channels I subscribed to this winter. No more TV, just youtube gardening/growing channels. 😅 And I don't even have a big garden to tend to, just a small roof terrace. Your place looks great!
I am trying now to set time aside to watch and support the channels and I think most people relate to the insane times of spring and summer🤭🤭. Oh my old boss used to have an amazing roof top garden 🪴. Hope you have a super weekend and get some sunny 🌞 days on the terrace
I bought an old tool from a customers neighbour and it broke the first time I used it 😂, I bought a new one 😂. Where my mum lives in the new forest they have horses running free.😮, garden is looking fabulous Cous. Did you plant the allium I sent you? Mine are just out now😁👌👍💪❤️🤠
🙈 I have lots of old forged tools and Gerald has some he’s had for eons (🤭🤭 he’s old). I will do a picky of the allium it has come up 👍. Have a simply awesome moving day and don’t work too hard cous 👩🌾
@@myrustygarden hopefully it's a tall white one. It was as big as Meadow last year, but she is growing fast. Moving in heat is better than rain but not by much 😜👍😁👌☀️
Hi I'm new to your site but like your style, will go back and watch some of your older videos, of course I'll also subscribe to your channel. Have a nice day
I know right like come on mama take them to the other side of the brook instead 🤦🏼♀️. But I’m glad people don’t just speed by and do damage to the cutest little goslings ever 🥰
@@myrustygarden I don’t sweetie, I did want to start one a few years back but life got in the way. My mother passed away and I was looking after my dad. Then when he passed (during Covid) I wasn’t really in a great place. I have a few health issues on and off since then. I wouldn’t say I’ll never do it but at the moment I’m happy to plod away at the plot (keeps me out of trouble) maybe one day soon x I really love to watch and support all you wonderful RUclips gardeners! I really think you do an incredibly kind act of sharing your experience, expert knowledge and friendship 💚 that is exactly what I need now. Thanks so much for asking Ali you’re a lovely, lovely person and it’s a delight watching your adventures in your beautiful garden 😘💚
@@sowenchantedirishkitchenga8282 oh my you have had a lot to deal with 🥰. It was a most devastating time in our lives and I have COPD so we were even more cautious than most. It can be a double edged sword doing RUclips it’s fun inter with lovely people all over the world but there are also just mean people out have nothing better to do than criticize others. I find 99.9% are nice but I did have someone who didn’t get my humour and called me rude. Then just don’t watch 😂. Have a wonderful week and I hope you have some amazing weather 🥰
Still suffering a lack of rain then, not agreat feeling is it. We had the same last May then it rained all summer 🙂 Nice to see alady not freaking out at the sight of spiders. Great to be complaing its too hot though.
Yep we are, may, could 😝maybe get rain next week. Gotta love weather people they just cover all their bases with a million adjectives 🙈. I think those spider nests are amazing and so many of the little babies floating away. Now Gerald screams like a girl of a spider is near him 🤣🤣. From 2c to 31 was just too quick no time to adjust but hey that’s nature. Have a super weekend Mike 👩🌾
Oh thank you 🙏, I tried purple and other colours they faded too fast but the red seems to go well with all the greens 🥬 and last longer. Have a marvellous week and thank you for popping by
Hey Ali thanks for the sub, I hit you one back and thumbs up 👍, first time watching , loved the organisation of your plot , really well laid out . Will be keeping my eye out on your videos .
So nice of you Nick I hope you enjoy. It’s been fun connecting with so many people around the world with similar interests even when it’s bad as we learn from them all
Wow things are going fast now. I just ry to get things accomplished everyday. We've had a bunch of rainy days but sun in-between. Makes the weeds grow too fast....need them to hold off until I get the other stuff in and have time for them LOL
Looks like a garden centre out there everything is on shelves being warm but not in direct sun 🌞. It was 31c yesterday we even kept the bedroom window open all night 🤦🏼♀️. I cut the grass the other day and it needs doing again already. But hey ho what’s a gardener to do. I am hoping it cools down a bit in a few days and we may get a sprinkle because I want to tempt fate and put out some beans 🫘. Have an awesome weekend Robin and hope the winds die down I hear it’s crazy lower south from you. Gerald’s daughter went to Tennessee Thursday to visit her friend just in time for tornado warnings 🤦🏼♀️
Ali you are wonderful the way you support everyone, I can't work out how you manage it, do you ever sleep? It is very much appreciated ❤ Your garden is looking great, can't wait to see what you eventually do with that bed you've just dug up as I'm sure your plans will change again 😉 Mine usually do anyway. Do you keep in touch with Ronald? Are they doing ok? Raining again here today, no need for shade here 😊 Take care
Update on empty bed soon 👍. I make sure to take time to view and comment as I have my morning coffee or after dinner 🥰. I don’t sleep I think if gardening 🤣🤣. I haven’t heard from Ronald for a while but he did comment on Brian’s Garden and said Susan had the big C and he was spending all his time with her. It may sprinkle here today but with half the country already burning I think we may need a bit more than sprinkles 😭😭. No fires near us but it’s very sad 😔
@@myrustygarden Oh no sorry to hear about the fires, if I could I would waft the rain over to you, wildfires are awful, glad you are not being affected by them. Thanks for the update on Ronald and Susan, they have not had much luck over the past couple of years. Take care and keep doing that 🌧 🕺
I love poineys they are soooo pretty 😍 Iv not done asparagus mainly because its a labour of love lol but i suppose worth it. 3:51 I love the idea of the baskets great on saving space. Your peas are doing fab really climbing. Awhhh no good with slugs, i use pellets i know its controversial lol Its going to be a good year for fruit. 8:03 😂😂 your not a old tool 😂😂 Check out market place for slabs in the uk people usually put them on free to collect. It jas been beautiful here today 🌞
Peonies have ants on them so that’s a good sign they will open soon 👍. I like my bush beans in hanging baskets and I think I’ll do Freddie’s cucamelon challenge in one. I think for you asparagus would be good in a big pot at home. You may not get loads but a few and totally worth fresh asparagus. I’ll keep my eye out for slabs as I won’t need them until later in the year p. Have an amazing weekend guys and hopefully the sunshine sticks about for a bit 🥰
Hey Ali. Beautiful skies there. I missed it here last week being poorly, under woolly blankets and duvets the most part 😔 Fab video lovely, stay warm and sunny 😁🌼🌸💚
There will be more blue skies but not another Rach so,your more important. It was again supposed to,rain her and hasn’t 😢. Put beans in yesterday let’s see how they manage against the slugs 🤦🏼♀️
I nearly fell about laughing when you said the slug on the carrots took a bath 😂 The garden is looking great Ali. So much has sprung in to life now the weather has warmed up in the day. Looks fab Seems incredulous to think we went straight from moaning about it being too cold to needing shade up as it’s too hot for our plants. Crazy! It’s such a busy time for us all in the garden. I’m finding I’m getting so behind with watching and comments too. Every seems to be putting out long videos too, adding to the problem 😂😂 Take care, both of you, and Chevy. See you soon x
I was talking to Jason at Allotment of the Dead and he said someone did a study by putting a paint dot on snails, then taking them miles away and days later they were back. Great fricking homing snails 🤦🏼♀️. It has not rained here still but maybe today 🤞 or I’m out watering again it’s a good thing our water ban doesn’t include veg or flower beds. Oh lord long videos and every day 😂😂. But I get through them I don’t have a farm to look after. Glad you got to meet so many people at Malvern what fun that must have been. Put my beans out yesterday so we’ll see if they survived the slugs 🤬
@@myrustygarden I hope they survived the slugs. Jo’s Greek gigantes are being hammered, I won’t dare put mine out. That’s mad to think they can travel so far.. slimy little plant invaders. 😳 We had monsoon rain yesterday but it’s warm and very humid today. Malvern was so much fun. Lovely to meet up with others. Bit of a trek for you though to join us 😭🤗🤗
Nice Tour there Ali and you are defo busy busy busy. Nice to see the Sun🌞out for you it's the same for us at the moment, i think we are in the middle of a small heatwave🥵were i live, well a few days of Sun🌞at least. We are supposed to be having a storm⛈tomorrow (Sunday) then the Sun🌞is back for a few days, i love the Sun🌞i would rather sweat🥵than freeze🥶 What you said about tools is true, they don't make them like they used to. Anyway take care, stay safe and drink plenty of fluids in that heat. Barry (UK) xx
It’s been awesome 😎 for a few days we actually had the bedroom window open all night it was that warm . Hopefully the storm is short lived 🤞. Did you get a chance to see the northern lights, sadly not here 😢. Gerald has tools as old as the hills but he looks after them. Hope you have an amazing Sunday and a great week ahead 👍👍
@@myrustygarden Hi Ali, the storm started at 5pm and it's just some heavy rain and thunder at the moment. The Northern Lights can be seen but only lightly. My Wife wants to see that as one of her wishes but to see it better we would have to go to Iceland or Norway. Have a great week x.
You're doing well, I'm feeling so behind on everything, might be time to get some more stuff sown. I hate the damn slugs and snails, btw slugs and snails are like homing pigeons, a study discovered that displaced snails often migrate back to the original bed they were in.
Oh frickin dandy so no more flying slugs then 🤣🤣 what are they salmon returning to where they were born. I have never had mass slug damage on my tomatoes before, good thing I have about 20 spares. Happy gardening Jason 🧑🌾
@@TheRightPearPlot if I remember correctly Steve from Greenside Up bless him used to have a bucket of ice cold water with some salt in it and he washed his stuff right at the plot (carried it home in the water in said bucket 🪣) it was supposed to kill things and make them float
The geese regularly stop traffic while crossing their babies over the road in York, and the look those adult geese give you if they think you are out of line would turn you to stone🪿🪿🪿😳😅
Ali I think you do a wonderful job of leaving a comment on everyone’s videos. I personally really love getting them as I’m sure we all do. Taking a few minutes to let someone know what they’re doing is appreciated means a lot, especially to us smaller creators.

Wow, Ali, everything looks amazing. Great video as always my friend ♡
Thank you 😊 it has been quite warm here but the plants are loving it 😍. Have a super weekend 🥰
Lovely update looking beautiful.Yoo Your garden is so beautiful Ali very lovely am learning here❤
Thank you so much 😊
Looks like spring is being good to you and your garden, found you through another channel, thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks for coming along I hope you always enjoy 😊
You've got your tomatoes out already! 😲 Holy cow, your garden looks so lush and so good!
Oh lord Paula it’s been so hot and barely any rain I thought they would do well. But the slugs are starving apparently because for the first time I can remember they are decimating my tomato plants 🤦🏼♀️. Good thing I have spares 👍.
Thank you so much for a wonderful garden video today as usual you’ve done a wonderful job
Thank you Grandma Sandy I hope you are all well 🙏
Lovely garden tour Ali.
Everything is looking good 😊Ali. I love all the umbrellas and shade. Have a great weekend🌟
Thank you so much 😊 Ms L, I hope you are well and enjoying your garden 🪴.
Looking good Ali have a nice weekend ❤🙏 Merril Michael and Poppy ❤
Thank you Merrill 🥰 I hope you have a relaxing weekend
Hello Ali! Happy mother's day! Great job out in the garden 😀
Thanks so much Katie happy Mother’s Day ❤️
ali the garden i looking great. the weather is looking great hopefully it stays. have a good week

We finally got some heat in the UK too, which is great, I can finally start filling the beds I painlessly put together and filled 🥵
Oh fabulous Shawn now we can start complaining about the heat 🥵, as we do. Look forward to seeing your updates once the beds are filled with amazing veg, happy gardening 👩🌾
Lovely garden Ali and looks like the weather is picking up too. Love peonies and really should grow some.
It poured rain for 2 days so luckily it all got watered but it also brought out all the slugs. I’m just growing flowers next year 😜😜 I’m tired of slugs eating everything. Yes the peonies should looks beautiful I put some by the window in the tv room too.
Hi dearest Ali such an enjoyable walk round
I got val a pink blueberry the weekend and a couple of peonys to put with my roses got to have a couple on plot 1 😊
Charlottes web my all time childhood favourite book/movie❤
It was a very lovely story I still have the DVD 😂
I like how ur garden has cover.❤❤❤
Thank you 🙏
I have some asparagus seed but I have now decided I'm going to get some crown's that way I can probably have some asparagus next year, I hope you have a lovely weekend 😊
I have seeded ones and crowns but yes if they aren’t too expensive crowns are the way to go. Here every once in a while they go on sale so I’ll buy a few replacements 👍. Have an awesome weekend Tony and of course Teddy 👍
@@myrustygarden thank you we will
Lots going on there. 😊 Do we ever get to meet the pea loving elusive Gerald or is it always a fleeting glimpse of him dashing past with his lawnmower?
The elusive Gerald hates being in camera and never actually talks if I’m filming 😝😝. He tends to think it’s all crazy how we do this videoing thing all over the world. He never even watches my videos 😲, how rude. But I’ll try sneaking him in one or two this year. Happy gardening and have a super weekend Eleanor 🧑🌾👍
Your garden is so amazing! So full of life and promise. "oh yikes, sorry" - Made me laugh!
Have a fabulous week ahead I hope it stays warm (ish) it not too warm right 🥰🥰
❤❤❤❤❤
Everything is looking great! That is one tall, pretty tulip! Ugh shoveling is so difficult. We still have a bunch of woodchip in a pile we need to move from the front yard here but I think I'm just gonna spread it out where it is and forget about it 😅
Isn’t it tall I was shocked and it’s doing so well 🌷. I still have that pile sitting there while I decide what to do with it, change of plans again of course. At least all your snow is gone so spreading it out won’t be so bad. Have an awesome weekend Bell 🧑🌾
The temps are up and down here too still. Awesome tour
Yes we do this every year don’t we here in Canada go from zero to 30 in a day 🤦🏼♀️. But we’re tough we’re Canucks 💪🇨🇦
Hey Ali, great update, love the fact you put shade up for your lettuces. Oh all my slugs can fly 😅
I had to water my garden the other day.
It's time for us to plant something!!. Wonderful gardens. Thanks for sharing. New subscriber new friend here.
Welcome 🙏 I hope you enjoy the journey with us 🥰
I bought an old tool from a customers neighbour and it broke the first time I used it 😂, I bought a new one 😂.
Have a nice day
Thank you so much all are welcome 🙏 to the Rusty Garden 🪴
hey Ali i spend spring and summer stopping for pheasants and wood pigeons 😂 i don’t know why they don’t understand t😅the rules of the road 😊
I know right like come on mama take them to the other side of the brook instead 🤦🏼♀️. But I’m glad people don’t just speed by and do damage to the cutest little goslings ever 🥰
Everything looks fantastic
Thank you for your kind words, do you have a channel I can subscribe to and support.
Just stumbled across your channel. I absolutely love your red accents throughout your garden!
Oh thank you 🙏, I tried purple and other colours they faded too fast but the red seems to go well with all the greens 🥬 and last longer. Have a marvellous week and thank you for popping by
So good
Thank you 🙏
Great stuff, Ali, all looking "fresh" there! I wish spiders would feast on my slugs 😂
It’s finally getting organized but a lot of watering having to be done 🤦🏼♀️
Beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
Ilove your channel especially when you swear at the slugs as i do that tooxx
🤭🤭 I try not to sweat too much and offend some but hey occasionally it’s the only way, have a super week 👍👍

Hey Ali thanks for the sub, I hit you one back and thumbs up 👍, first time watching , loved the organisation of your plot , really well laid out . Will be keeping my eye out on your videos .

Wish you a happy Mother’s Day weekend
Thank you 🥰
Wow things are going fast now.

Take care and keep doing that 🌧 🕺
I love poineys they are soooo pretty 😍
Iv not done asparagus mainly because its a labour of love lol but i suppose worth it.
3:51 I love the idea of the baskets great on saving space.
Your peas are doing fab really climbing.
Awhhh no good with slugs, i use pellets i know its controversial lol
Its going to be a good year for fruit.
8:03 😂😂 your not a old tool 😂😂
Check out market place for slabs in the uk people usually put them on free to collect.
I missed it here last week being poorly, under woolly blankets and duvets the most part 😔
Fab video lovely, stay warm and sunny 😁🌼🌸💚

The garden is looking great Ali. So much has sprung in to life now the weather has warmed up in the day. Looks fab
Seems incredulous to think we went straight from moaning about it being too cold to needing shade up as it’s too hot for our plants. Crazy!
It’s such a busy time for us all in the garden. I’m finding I’m getting so behind with watching and comments too. Every seems to be putting out long videos too, adding to the problem 😂😂
Take care, both of you, and Chevy.
