I’ve just learned… be straight forward, don’t beat around the bush, tell them exactly why you’re calling and keep that shit brief
How did you learn that
@@magnointeritus I sell big tech and have done my time selling to executives. Eventually all the sales guru stuff is repetitive and over used. They’ve heard the tactics at this point
@@JerryBisMe Yeah I thought that should happen at some point. Thank you for the response.
You still need a good speaking voice apart from being straightforward and to the point.
@@magnointeritus certainly best of luck!
Use how have you been, instead of how are you doing will give off an impression that you already know each other. 9/10 they will lower their guard.
How are you doing today is the worst thing you can do, not only are you leaving yourself open for a “ my wife just died” but it’s disingenuous, I don’t give a shit how they are doing and they know they also
Here’s the thing…I say that all the time…it’s a greeting. I use an AI tool to make 350 dials a day, and I speak to maybe 10-20 people who are decision makers each day. No one ever says that as then says my wife died or turns it around on me. I think it’s a misnomer. It works good in the Midwest. I lead my team of 120 and I lead my team of 8 now. Maybe in NY, it’s not fast enough but in middle America it works.
@@HamburgerHelperDeath What tool do you use?
@@HamburgerHelperDeath what tool u use bro pls
@@valentino7198 Orum….I can dial 1-6 lines at a time and the a.i. connects me to who answers.
@@HamburgerHelperDeathhere for the tool
"How are you doing today?"
Big no-no.
They know you really don't care!
Oh man it's such a waste of time. When the Barista at the coffee shops says "how are you?" that's when I'll genuinely answer.
Bruh that's literally normal phone etiquette. You can't just say hello and get right into your pitch lol
I use "how have you been?" instead, it actually give off an impression that you already know each other, makes them lower their guard 90% of the time.
In both examples, i wanted to hang up already 😅
Exactly this guy has poor awareness
Haha true!
Thank you for this Patrick! 🎉
The fact that he looks like "the owner of windows" makes me laugh hard😂
This guys talking about tone and everyone’s hung up on his word choice 🤦♂️
Informative read!
sir how to convince people to go for a consultation call for study abroad programme please make a video
Are there classes at local community colleges/public universities that teach you how to work on tonality or is it literally just you practicing it with skin in the game with cold calling?
basically you gotta rizz your prospect up
rather say how is your day going. let them focus on the day.
I'm sorry but those two voices were much alike😂
I hang up either way. Doesn't matter to me.
pleasr don't
People's short attention spans also has something do with it.
I sell software to the government, they always listen regardless.
I wanna sell software to the government
Just be natural
Hi John,
I’ll be upfront - this is actually a sales call, would you give me 30 seconds before you hang up?
No. *click* 😂😂
If you’re offering value why do you ask if he can give you 30 secs in the first place? Tonality is important but positioning as well
I want to post a comment but it might backfire really bad. So I'll keep it a secret. 😜
Cold calling will kill you
