I had a seed with percaio, observatory, blueprint, and brainstorm. I went to SPACE that run!
Showman explanation:
When jokers are generated, there are additional jokers behind it which are also generated, which will show up if the front joker is blocked by it being present already. So if you take showman, it is possible that one of the jokers you saw in a previous play of the seed was actually the result of that mechanism, thus preventing it from showing up in the play through where you took showman.
I could be wrong about this, so if there is an expert around, feel free to correct me.

Balatro University through his extensive scouting ahead & other research has confirmed this. Basically each Ante develops a queue of possible jokers by two things alter this:
1. The number of times you reroll the shop per Ante
2. The jokers you purchase or otherwise hold on a Joker slot
So yeah, skipping Showman will alter the jokers in the queue versus what appeared in a previous run that you took Showman.

I don't think I've ever actually considered just playing Verdant Leaf debuffed. It's just never occurred to me.
Pained me when you were skipping the extra voucher tags. You could have found boss reroll/infinite rerolls to save you. Good run either way though

There should be a voucher that just gives you a negative eternal showman, and the upgraded version just gives you another one.

If you did do this seed again, heart flush five would definitely be the way to go.
Especially if you could manage it with a face card, cause Buskin came up a lot too
i spent like 30 minutes trying to figure out where the bull came from since you start on blind 3, i was going crazy. found the vod on your twitch and learned where you get the bull my game on the seed gave me vampire.

I object to calling this the "ultimate" planet build. I saw another video that used the same Perkeo and Observatory setup and ended on ante 28. Seed was MURPHYOB.

Baseball is only better than the family if it can proc 4 times. 1.5^4 = ~5.0. Otherwise, the family is better at x4. You could have had 3 x4. 4^3 = x64
