@@gabrieldinix It upgrades only per "play", so retriggering it with something like hack or seltzer does upgrade multiple times.

Just for fun, if Skootie had pivoted to Cavendishes as soon as he had 5 dice and focused entirely on that (and assuming he still won all of the subsequent 7 rounds somehow), he would have had a 25% chance* of breaking the banana, which would be not only his highest chance yet, but also a higher chance than all of his cumulative chances up to now.
Unf (or luckily) he didn't, so I don't have to add that to my running total :)

Obelisk might still be the worst rare joker ever. Should be uncommon if you ask me, simply because it's effectiveness falls off very quickly.

I started playing Balatro in these days, so far only some jokers to me seem completely unusable, Obelisk being one, so much work needed to make it work and it will fall off, maybe you can make something out of it if you played a ton of hands like high card to scale something then idk do five of a kind hands? Still you have to scale it as well, seems so weird to make use out. What if it gave you 1.2x multi per difference on your current hand vs your most played, for example you played 11 high card, and you make a pair which you never did you would get 3x maybe op?

I think they should make it where that one voucher that upgrades polychrome, foil and the other one chance, should also add chance for negative, would make endless mode runs so much more fun

I'm pretty sure the things that add a modifier to jokers are based off location. As I've menued out and swapped the things I want negative around and it's always worked

On PC it's a factor of when you got your joker.
It will hit either the most recently acquired card that does not have a modifier already or the longest ago acquired card that doesn't have a modifier

6's are the cards with the least synergies in the game. Kings are probably the best because of baron and sock and buskin. 5, 3, 2 also very good because of fib and hack

Man nice run but couldn't you have scaled way more by just not copying the lucky cat for 2 hands before playing the final flush five? Especially because you could have been copying Oops and getting 100% on the money for those hands, so you'd have been getting more money too.
