It was entertaining to hear your husband's comments in the background. These were great! I really loved how the sandwiches turned out. I loved the santa one too. It was a great idea to use white rice for the beard!
Thank you so much for your comment! I am soooo happy you liked the video and the Santa decoration. Thanks to your comment, I will try my best to make videos again!
I hope when my baby enters elementary school, I can master these techniques and be able to prep her lunch box quickly and look appetizing! I want her to be proud to bring a lunch box to school instead of eating pizza and fries from cafeteria...
Oh no, I somehow missed this video! Okay, total guess, but I once got cute light pink stars from pickling red radishes, so I'm going to say that the little pink flowers are made from the daikon and coloured with the red shiso. I'm always surprised how cucumbers (and eggplant, although not in this video) look so small compared to what I'm used to here, but the carrots in Japan look so HUGE! For sandwiches, I use hard-boiled eggs, but when I eat eggs for Sunday breakfast, I like them with a runny yolk. Wow, those sandwiches look AMAZING! LOL, Santa with sunglasses, I like it! It really is cool that he still has eyes underneath. I guessed right! Okay, I haven't posted my comment yet, because I like to watch these step-by-step and comment afterwards, but I feel like a smarty now. Again, that carrot is HUGE!? You are already a great cook, but it's fun to see you get even better with things like decorating. I honestly never knew the microwave was so useful until I found your channel. Not sure whether I mentioned it before, but I heard a tip on another cooking channel about putting breadcrumbs on food: Use one of your hands to put it in the egg, use the other hand to put it in the flour and breadcrumbs (in this case panko). I love your channel!
Thank you so much for your comment. I am so glad you mentioned the details. A lot of people say the carrot is HUGE! hahaha Recently, we have seen even larger carrots than before. I don't know why. But, the regular carrot is still much bigger than the one in the West. Thanks for commenting about the Santa. I was making it so hard, so I'm happy to hear your comment :) And, thank you for your compliments about the decorating. It gave me the energy to introduce various recipes again. About the breadcrumbs thing, I think I will do that style next time! Thanks 😘
Wait … when it’s winter in Japan you’ll get delicious and cheap strawberries? 😅 … but the season for strawberries is in summer! In Germany Strawberries are the most expensive and taste like water in Winter so we avoid to buy them 🙈
Yea... that's what I learned in the comment section before. In Europe, it's opposite to Japan. Japanese strawberries are the most delicious in the winter. We don't even see it during summer 😭
Strawberries seem to be grown in a greenhouse in winter. Also, strawberries do not seem to grow well unless they are in a somewhat cool place, and the Japanese summer is probably too hot.
oh the little snowman is so cute
Thanks!!
In Australia, we often draw Santa wearing shorts and sunglasses at the beach! 😂❤️ your Santa made me think of my childhood 🥰

@@JapaneseCookingChannel but how does it work? Please tell me the secret so we can also have delicious and cheep strawberries in winter 🙈🙈🙈
Strawberries seem to be grown in a greenhouse in winter. Also, strawberries do not seem to grow well unless they are in a somewhat cool place, and the Japanese summer is probably too hot.
@@JapaneseCookingChannel I see, thank you 🥰
What does the white sauce contain?
It contains flour, heavy cream, milk, butter, onion, sugar, salt, chicken extract, etc.
@@JapaneseCookingChannel thank you ☺️
Did you have to flatten the bread or did it come that way?
It come that way. They sell very thin bread specifically for sandwiches.
@@JapaneseCookingChannel hmm I wish they sold it that way here
What is Santa's nose made of?
That's cherry tomato!
Cucumber is a fruit.
Виглядає смачно, але складно😅
Haha... Sorry 😂
