  • How many more will die in Gambia? I know Ali, he had health problems, was a habitual consumer of alcohol, and dated young Gambian girls. Alcohol and girls was his vice.
I wanted nothing, but the best for Ali. He was a very honest man with me and I admired him for his honesty. Despite his life choice, he kept it 💯 with me. We always had deep and real conversations, without judgement. I was always worried about him.
We will never know what's happening to our brothers and sisters in Gambia. Gambia and Ghana has become a burial ground for Indigenous Americans.
Rest in peace brother Pernell Hill, AKA Ali ❤️🖤💚

Ali was a good man as I knew him. May he RIEP.
He was also a private man and would not appreciate this video you have made. Gossip and slander on a public platform is incredibly bad taste, while claiming your Youtubing is of some service to the community. How???
Can Ali respond to your biased opinions and skewed judgements on his lifestyle?!

Sister, If you are a friend, i'm not sure why you would talk about his personal life after he has passed.. yes a lot of people come here to the Gambia with pre-existing conditions and maybe don't have a healthy physical or morally correct lifestyle. I don't know him or you but it's really in poor taste to come and put him out like that. The diasporans in the Gambia have a hard enough time trying to live here. We try to be there for anyone coming here but for whatever reason does not want to be connected. Help before/during, not talk about him after! To get the info out to youtubers could have been done in a more tactful way...SMH

RIP to the brother, he seemed to have lived his life to the full. Well in Africa we need to take care of our health because a lot of the processed food consumed are deliberated made toxic and targeted at Africans. It is no surprising that the average life expectancy in Africa is so low.
I believe it could be as low as 35, so when somebody in their late fifties suddenly dies, very few people would even question it.
Clarity on whether his death is suspicious has been muddied by his unhealthy lifestyle, i.e him being a loner, his love of partying, loose women and alcohol.

I'm glad you shared his story along with his health, lifestyle, and the reality of living in a foreign country. These issues ARE conflated and interwoven, so why separate? Plus, who else could've sent out this warning?
Secrecy has long been a problem in the black community and makes us sick. She's not a doctor, I guess, so she's giving the entire picture as a point of warning to Americans who go there and may not be well informed on how to survive in another culture.
When it happened to women, where was the voice saying older women going to Gambia, and looking for love shouldn't be interwoven? So she honored him as he chose to live. If he was running a business, she would've mentioned it but it doesn't mean it would've been any different an outcome. But maybe, less likely that he'd have lost his life
And the women went there and in most cases, running businesses vs running the streets. Each story is different

You may live in Gambia, but does Gambia live in you?
Gambia is my home and I love her. I lived in Gambia, own property in Gambia, have a licensed and registered business in Gambia, worked in the Gambia. I served and participated in development for the following public and private sectors: Ministry of Health, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Education, the Embassy, and villages.
I was invited to Gambia, I answered the call and took my proven knowledge, skills, and abilities with me. My mother is Mandinka and Father Igbo. I was raised in America with African identity and ideologies. I was raised and taught well by originals. I love and respect our people with all my heart and mind 365 days a year.
There have been countless documentaries on Gambia's sex tourism, cultural heritage, human trafficking, and nightlife activities for both genders. All what you have said is pointless and carries no weight. Not only are you blind about what's happening on the ground, you have no idea about the longterm negative effects that is keeping our people marginalized.
This channel (BWise AFRICA Movement) "Africa for Afro-cans" supports Global Africans who travel to Africa or desire to make Africa their forever home. My focus is not about Europeans. Lastly, when you categorized human beings as a color, I know you are not about Kingdom Building and you are not a serious person. There is absolutely nothing in our DNA that produces color. Humans have melanin or no melanin. Melanin ranges from the darkest hue to the lightest hue. When you say you see black and white, you are stating that you see crayons walking around in Gambia.
Your issue is overindulgence in that street life and contributing to the problem. Go research, learn the culture, immerse yourself in the history, then we can exchange nicities.
It is fellas like you that is contributing to the problem. This kind should leave Gambia, until they have something more meaningful to contribute. It is only the fellas that find issues with this post. You guys are telling it on yourselves.
By the way I have several videos on this channel talking to the sisters.
The light is on but no one is home with the current Africa explorers. Gambia need so much more than those who are escaping life, running from their problems, and serving feelings of not being satisfied with themselves.
The question I want to know is what are you doing to enrich Gambia and Gambians? What footprint and legacy is being left by the group of male haters?
SEX TOURISM IS WRONG AND IT'S MODERN DAY SLAVERY.

@myjourneymyhijrah certainly not yours and I accept that without reservation. Thank the ancestors for embracing our truths, may right-living be found among us.
I support you and your personal views. I dare not judge you or tell you that you don't have a right to have your own views. I accept our different views and experiences. Can we take that and problem solve? Can we build capacity and sustainablity for the next generation? Can we deny ourselves and practice self-control for the sake of growth? We got disastrous things happening that we must lay open to resolve. If we have ears to hear and eyes to see, why can’t we redirect our thinking and doing to build?
Our call and mandate to go home is to be in peace, invest, and help to develop Africa, so she can be in a position of power. If we are doing other things, the Motherland is not calling you home. Something else has had drawn them and this is the of sufferage. We depart and end our dialogue in peace. Have a great day!

Nonsense sister, gambians are dying in the Gambia every day.and equally gambians die in order parts of the world as well. That's normal . Try and talk good about people when they die

Brother nothing is normal about dying too soon and because of a lack of healthcare, food, and shelter. We are a blessed people and we need to do better. We must become our own caretakers. We should take care of the world, but yet we remain subservient and classless. None or us should leave this realm in the conditions we are leaving. Yes, Gambians are included and deserve so much more than what they are producing. Good and bad don't exist in the universe; it is a matter of living and speaking truths, regardless of the pain. We need to mature as a people and stop acting like children.

That's your understanding of the scenario. Well , for me, it is different , I believe we are from Allah, and we will return to Allah sooner or later, rich or poor, bigger or smaller, cared for or not cared for, at any level we will all die one day. My advice is that don't talk bad about people who can't defend themselves because they are dead.

Yes and you are entitled to your own understanding. Do you brother and I promise not to tell you what to do or how to do it. This has nothing to do with Allah. I didn't ask for your advice.

God is merciful and loving. The God I serve forgives our shortcomings and calls us HIS own.
