Great job Kebba! I like that you've shown empathy in your interviews with the users. I'm glad you took time to listen to them. I can only hope they take steps to get help. As a people, we have to be really proactive to help steer our young ones from being influenced by these vices. Once again, great job 🙌🏾

Thank you. We will beat the habit if we all chip in inshaAllah. Drugs and prostitution are in front of our doorsteps now. We must act. Otherwise, our kids will get caught up in this mess

Youth been hopeless and frustrated is because they are not worshiping Allah in the correct sense, true happiness is in the hands of Allah, let’s put the selfish desires aside and worship Allah, whether there is job or no job five daily prayers are there, reciting Quran, fasting and even sticking to the sunnah of our beloved prophet PBUH can bring peace in our lives as Muslims youths.

Only thing wrong is the Imam saying lack of jobs is not part of the problem...as usual Imams in Gambia always stay away from the elephant in the room (Government)
Lack of investment in a country makes the youth idle...if you had factories offering alternatives with good pay...things can be different....salary in Gambia is very poor, not every one can sell Cafe Touba, oranges etc etc...Religious leaders should be bold up speak truth...
Good documentary and good there was RESPECT for human dignity ...

Very interesting, I believe a lot of sensitisation needs to be done particularly in schools so our kids will know the negative impact of drug abuse.
Secondly tougher laws should be put in place so that peddlers and drug dealers would be discouraged from the trade. The community should also join hands with the police in this fight because they live with the drug dealers and at the end of the day our kids are their target.
Mr Wadda good job keep it up

One way the government can help with the drug addiction is to open a rehab center which will allow youths to admit themselves and get a second chance in their lives.
I also believe that decriminalization of cannabis will definitely increase the intake of Kush and the like. Koto yee denj buga nyu bayee guyee nyu lal sii mbedabii dii jaay Tai (cannabis) komm foga jay 😂😂

Strict border controls need to be in place; both airport and seaport. Check every luggage and bucket, no matter how small or large. Never relent in your job as a border agency because our borders are now open for everyone (good or bad, ex-convict or saint). Massive sensitization where youths will be involved and also creating recreational grounds aside from employment opportunities to keep youths in meaningful activities (basketball, football). It really saddens me to see my homeland suffering. Thank you, Kebba, for broadcasting this documentary. I learnt a lot.

You can’t buy even cigarettes without proof of your Age to the store attendant because if they sell it to anyone without proof that this person is 21 and above you will lose your license and will go to jail.

Gambia should make cannibis legal like America an take the money from Canibis An build up the Gambia .
Cannabis is is called medical marijuana and if you regulate and control it and watch was being sold people won’t be dying because people are smoking any and everything in the Gambia cocaine is already in the Gambia. Among other things worrying about clearing the road has no money Gambia can make cannabis legal and build its own country and won’t need no assistance.
