Hi Arnel, I can't express my gratitude, well wishes, thanks to you by words. You are genuinely "the greatest of all time" educator in English grammar. In 38 years of my lifetime, I never know that "than could be a conjunction".....in throughout school, college life we are taught "than" is a preposition & as preposition is always followed by a noun (object), Triple A rule is an exceptional rule in this lecture. I have never heard such rule before. Your today's lecture is "the most perfect lecture in English grammar till the world has produced those English grammar lectures ( as I know "the most perfect" is grammatically incorrect, as "perfect" adjective don't admit of any comparative & superlative degree. Adjectives like: perfect, unique, ideal, chief, universal, extreme, complete, entire, excellent, absolute, impossible, eternal, supreme etc don't have any comparative & superlative. They itself denotes "absolute positive adjective position" but I have no words to express how exceptionally perfect you are in your lecture. Your channel name should be renamed as "The perfectionist Arnel's every day English lessons"....
Hi Arnel. Thank you! I am a native english speaker, but my understanding of English grammar is sorely lacking as I was not paying attention in English classes as a student. Now, at 73, I'm learning "Conversational Tagalog," my mother's native language. Your 'parts of speech,' 'conditional,' and 'subject/object pronouns' videos have helped me greatly in my Tagalog journey. Your pace, clarity of explanations...and yes, your charts have been enlightening! I have had "AHA!" moments during your videos. Much appreciated. - Bill
Hi Bill! I really appreciate you taking the time to write me such a nice comment. I am truly happy to hear that my lessons have been helpful. And you love my charts, yes! Good luck with your Tagalog journey! Arnel :)

Teacher ,thanks for everything. Would you consider a video containing only academic words(from AWL)? Your videos are really clear and we love watching them. We would be very happy if you prepare such a video. Love from Turkiye😊
hey i am from india, your style of teaching is superb and your content too. thanks for making videos. whenever i get some problem your video provides me with solution.
Great lesson, Arnel, I want to take advance of this chance to ask you: in your examples, you focus the intensifiers on a possitive way, for instance: Dogs are MUCH more popular than cats, If I want to reverse the sentence focusing on negative: Cats are MUCH less popular than cats or cats are a BIT/TAD/SLIGHTLY/MARGINALLY/WAY/A LOT/FAR/CONSIDERABLY less popular. Is this grammatically correct?. Muchas gracias.
Farther is used for physical distance, and further is used for mental or thought. Ex: Furthermore or explain it further, please. It is a common mistake. Thank you!
Arnel, Many thanks for your coherent, harmonious and euphonious lessons! May I say like this: Pineapple Perry is virtually / literally the creepiest toy I've seen in my life.
Wow I got 8 / 10 in the first part and inthe second a got 7/10 not too bad but it is ok I really love your videos you’re a great teacher you always look so beautiful and you make me laugh in the funny parts of all videos !!! 😊🌹👌💯
A couple of days ago I came across with your videos that helped me alot to improve my English I can assure you these videos are really helpful especially the short ones ❤🇵🇰
Hello, Arnel! Could you please make a video on Can/Could, May/Might, Will/Would, Shall/Should and Must( by including every details about them)? It's so confusing to understand as they give the same meaning sometime. That's why I humbly request you to make a video on above mentioned topics!❤
Hi Arnel madam, could you clarify me pertaining to "The noun/pronoun before a gerund (verbal noun) should always be in "possessive case" & "the noun/pronoun before a participle should always be in "objective case"...is there any hard & fast rule regarding that. I myself want to understand it from your unique aesthetically designed lectures...
I am so grateful of you ❤about these bundle of useful information but please clarify these points. "e" letter which is at the end of words. Are they considered to be syllables for ex simple and beautiful (bea¹-u²-ti³-ful⁴) 4syllables which are incompatible to yours please illustrate these.
Good questions. No, the letter "e" doesn't have to be considered a syllable if it's at the end of the word. "Ple" is the syllable in "simple," not the "e." The adjective "beautiful" only has three syllables: beau|ti|ful. It's non-standard for there to be four syllables. I hope this helps!
